3. Installation Guide

This section provides a step-by-step guide for installing your METEESER car stereo. It is recommended to consult a professional for installation if you are unfamiliar with car audio systems.

3.1 Disassembly of Factory Radio

  1. Remove Center Console Armrest Panel: Carefully pry up the center console armrest panel. You may need to shift the gear selector to neutral to fully remove it.
  2. Remove Screws: Locate and remove the screws securing the factory radio unit.
  3. Disconnect Wiring: Gently pull the factory radio unit forward and disconnect all wiring harnesses and antenna cables from the back.

3.2 Wiring Connections

Connect the provided wiring harnesses to the new head unit. Ensure all connections are secure.

3.3 Installing the New Head Unit

  1. Fit Bottom Cover: Align the screw holes of the bottom cover with the dashboard and screw it firmly.
  2. Connect Wires: Connect all the prepared wire connections to the new head unit.
  3. Insert Head Unit: Carefully slide the new head unit into the dashboard opening until it clicks into place.

5.2 Mirror Link

Mirror Link allows you to display your phone's screen on the car stereo. This feature supports both iPhone and Android devices.

  • For iPhone: Set up Personal Hotspot on your iPhone and connect the car stereo to it. Then, select Screen Mirroring on your iPhone and choose "zlink-airplay".
  • For Android: Connect your phone to the car stereo via Bluetooth. Turn on Personal Hotspot on your phone and connect the car stereo to it. Open the "LINK INNOVATION" app on your phone and click "Start Mirroring".
