2. Setup
2.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Verify that all parts are present: the Cool Control unit, stainless steel milk container, metal tube, adapter, and power cable.
- Inspect all components for any signs of damage. Do not use the device if any damage is observed.
2.2 Placement
Place the Cool Control unit on a stable, level surface near your Jura automatic coffee machine. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.

2.3 Initial Cleaning
Before first use, clean all parts that come into contact with milk:
- Remove the stainless steel milk container, metal tube, and adapter.
- Wash these components thoroughly with warm soapy water or place them in a dishwasher.
- Rinse and dry completely before reassembly.
2.4 Power Connection
Connect the power cable to the Cool Control unit and then plug it into a suitable power outlet (100 Volts, 25 Watts).
2.5 Filling with Milk
- Open the lid of the Cool Control unit.
- Pour fresh, cold milk into the stainless steel container. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line.
- Close the lid securely.

2.6 Connecting to the Coffee Machine
- Attach the metal tube to the milk outlet on your Jura coffee machine.
- Insert the other end of the metal tube, with the adapter, into the designated opening on the Cool Control unit's lid.
- Ensure a secure connection to prevent leaks and ensure proper milk flow.
3. Operation
3.1 Powering On/Off
Press the power button on the top of the Cool Control unit to turn it on or off. The digital display will illuminate when the unit is active.

3.2 Temperature Control
The integrated Peltier cooling element automatically maintains the milk temperature at 39°F (4°C). The digital display shows the current temperature, ensuring optimal freshness for your milk.
3.3 Milk Level Indicator
The Cool Control features a wireless communication system with compatible Jura coffee machines. An integrated level indicator will alert you when the milk container needs to be refilled, ensuring uninterrupted preparation of milk-based beverages.
3.4 Preparing Milk-Based Drinks
Once the Cool Control is set up and connected, your Jura coffee machine will draw milk directly from the unit for preparing drinks like cappuccinos, lattes, and flat whites. Refer to your specific Jura coffee machine's instruction manual for detailed steps on preparing milk-based beverages.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Daily Cleaning
For optimal hygiene and performance, clean the milk system daily:
- Empty any remaining milk from the stainless steel container.
- Remove the stainless steel milk container, metal tube, and adapter.
- These parts are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, wash them by hand with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
- Ensure all components are completely dry before reassembling them into the Cool Control unit.
4.2 Exterior Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the Cool Control unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the main unit in water.
