4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

4.2 Placement

• Place the dehumidifier on a flat, stable surface.
• Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space around the air inlet and outlet for proper airflow.
• Avoid placing the unit near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• Press the "ON/OFF" button on the control panel to turn the unit on or off.

5.2 Mode Selection

The dehumidifier offers two operating modes:

• Normal Mode: Provides efficient dehumidification with a noise level below 40dB.
• Sleep Mode: Designed for quiet operation, ensuring a silent sleeping environment. In this mode, the ambient light is turned off, and noise is reduced.

5.3 Ambient Light Control

6. Maintenance

6.1 Emptying the Water Tank

The dehumidifier will automatically stop operation when the 68 oz (2 liter) water tank is full. The red light will illuminate.

1. Gently pull out the water tank directly from the bottom of the unit.
2. Manually pour out the accumulated water.
3. Reinsert the water tank firmly into the unit until it clicks into place.

6.2 Continuous Drainage Setup

For continuous operation without needing to empty the water tank, use the included drain hose.

1. Locate the drain port at the bottom of the back of the dehumidifier.
2. Unplug the rubber stopper (piston) from the drain port.
3. Install the provided 3.8 ft drainage hose into the drain port.
4. Place the other end of the drainage hose into a suitable drain, bucket, or container, ensuring it is lower than the drain port on the unit for gravity drainage.

6.3 Cleaning the Unit

• Always unplug the dehumidifier before cleaning.
• Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Clean the water tank regularly to prevent mold and mildew growth. Rinse it with clean water and dry thoroughly before reinserting.
• Periodically check the air inlet and outlet for dust accumulation and clean with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner attachment.
