Safety Instructions
To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, or personal injury, always follow these basic safety precautions:
- Electrical Safety: Ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker before installation or maintenance. All wiring must be in accordance with national and local electrical codes.
- Mounting: The mounting structure must be capable of supporting the weight of the fan (approximately 15 kg). Ensure the fan is securely attached to the ceiling joist or a suitable support system.
- Blade Clearance: Maintain a minimum clearance of 2.3 meters (7.5 feet) from the floor to the fan blades and at least 50 cm (20 inches) from the wall to the blade tips to ensure safe operation and optimal airflow.
- Installation Environment: This fan is designed for indoor use and covered outdoor areas. Do not expose to direct water spray.
- Remote Control: Keep the remote control away from children. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation. While no electrician is strictly required for this model, if you are unsure about any electrical connections, consult a qualified professional.
- Prepare the Installation Site: Turn off power at the main circuit breaker. Secure the mounting bracket to a ceiling joist or a fan-rated outlet box. Ensure the structure can support the fan's weight.
- Assemble the Downrod: Choose the appropriate downrod (12.7 cm or 25.4 cm) for your ceiling height. Ceilings between 2.3m and 2.6m are recommended. Feed the electrical wires through the chosen downrod.
- Attach Fan to Downrod: Securely attach the fan motor housing to the downrod.
- Hang the Fan: Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it onto the mounting bracket. This design allows for hands-free wiring.
- Wire the Fan: Connect the electrical wires from the ceiling to the fan's wiring according to the provided wiring diagram. Use the included wire nuts.
- Attach Blades: Secure each of the five reversible blades to the motor housing. You can choose between the dark wood or black finish facing downwards.
- Install Light Kit: Connect the light kit wiring and secure the LED light assembly to the bottom of the fan.
- Final Checks: Ensure all connections are secure and all screws are tightened. Restore power at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions
Your Mefine ceiling fan is operated via the included remote control. Ensure batteries are installed correctly in the remote.
- Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the fan and light on or off.
- Fan Speed Control: Use the speed buttons to cycle through 6 fan speeds. The fan features a powerful DC motor for efficient airflow up to 4430 CFM.
- Light Control:
- Color Temperature: Toggle between three color temperatures: Warm White (3000K), Neutral White (4500K), and Daylight (6500K).
- Dimming: Adjust the brightness continuously from 5% to 100%. The 18W LED provides up to 1650 lumens.
- Reversible Motor (Summer/Winter Mode): Press the reverse button on the remote to change the direction of blade rotation. In summer, blades rotate counter-clockwise to create a cooling downdraft. In winter, blades rotate clockwise to circulate warm air trapped near the ceiling.
- Timer Function: Set the fan to turn off automatically after 1, 2, or 4 hours.
- Memory Function: The fan remembers your last light setting (color temperature and brightness) when turned off and on via the remote.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ceiling fan.
- Cleaning: Dust the fan blades and motor housing regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure power is off before cleaning.
- Blade Inspection: Periodically check that all blade screws are tight. Loose blades can cause wobbling and noise.
- Light Source: The integrated LED light source is designed for long life and is not user-replaceable. If the light fails, contact customer support.
- Remote Control: Replace batteries in the remote control when its range decreases or it becomes unresponsive. Use AAA batteries.
