4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Screwdriver

  1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the screwdriver.
  2. Connect the provided USB-A to USB-C charging cable to the screwdriver and a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
  3. The indicator lights on the screwdriver will show charging status. A full charge is indicated when all lights are solid.
  4. The magnetic case also features an in-box charging capability. Place the screwdriver into its designated slot in the case, and connect the USB-C cable to the case's charging port.

4.2 Inserting Bits

  1. Select the appropriate bit for your task from the magnetic storage case.
  2. Insert the bit firmly into the screwdriver's chuck until it clicks into place. The magnetic chuck will hold the bit securely.
  3. To remove a bit, simply pull it out from the chuck.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off and Torque Selection

  1. To power on the screwdriver, press and hold either the 'Screw In' (left arrow) or 'Screw Out' (right arrow) button for a few seconds until the display illuminates.
  2. To adjust the torque setting, press the power button (usually the central button or a dedicated mode button) to cycle through the 5 available torque levels. The current torque level will be displayed on the screen.
  3. To power off, the screwdriver will automatically shut down after a period of inactivity.

5.2 Electric Mode Operation

The screwdriver offers two primary electric modes: tightening and loosening.

  • Tightening (Screw In): Press the left arrow button once for a single rotation to tighten a screw. For continuous tightening, press and hold the left arrow button.
  • Loosening (Screw Out): Press the right arrow button once for a single rotation to loosen a screw. For continuous loosening, press and hold the right arrow button.
  • Continuous Rotation (Torque 5 Only): For continuous rotation at the highest torque setting, triple-press either the 'Screw In' or 'Screw Out' button. This mode is exclusive to Torque Setting 5.

5.3 Manual Mode Operation

For tasks requiring higher torque or precise manual control, the screwdriver can be used manually. Simply apply force as you would with a traditional screwdriver. The electric motor will disengage, allowing for manual rotation up to 3 N·m.

5.4 Using the LED Light

The integrated LED light automatically illuminates when the screwdriver is in operation, providing clear visibility of the work area. There is no separate control for the LED light.

5.5 Magnetizing/Demagnetizing Bits

The magnetic storage case includes dedicated areas for magnetizing and demagnetizing bits.

  • To Magnetize: Rub the tip of the bit against the 'Magnetization Area' on the case. This will help hold small screws more easily.
  • To Demagnetize: Rub the tip of the bit against the 'Demagnetization Area' on the case. This is useful when working with sensitive electronics where magnetism could cause interference.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the screwdriver and bits with a clean, dry cloth after each use. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Always store the screwdriver and bits in their magnetic case to prevent loss and damage. Keep the case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
