4. Troubleshooting

4.1 System Not Booting or Freezing

If your Mini PC experiences issues like not booting up, freezing, or graphical glitches, especially in humid or dusty environments, RAM issues are a common cause. Refer to the "Cleaning RAM Modules and Slots" section under Maintenance.

After cleaning and reinserting RAM, test the system. If problems persist, try the following:

  • Test one RAM stick at a time: If you have multiple RAM modules, try booting the system with only one module installed. If it boots successfully, test each module individually to identify a faulty one.
  • Try different RAM slots: If a module doesn't work in one slot, try it in another known-good slot.
  • Run a memory diagnostic: Use the built-in Windows Memory Diagnostic tool or a third-party tool like MemTest86 to check for RAM errors.

4.2 Operating System Issues

If you encounter operating system issues (e.g., missing apps, installation errors), a clean reinstallation of the OS is often the most effective solution. Refer to the "Operating System Installation" section under Setup.
