3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the case and a compatible USB power source. The LED display on the charging case will indicate the battery level. A full charge typically takes about 1.5 hours for the case.

3.2 Pairing with Your Device

1. Ensure earbuds are charged.
2. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED on one or both earbuds.
3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth.
4. Search for "S48" in the list of available Bluetooth devices and select it to connect.
5. Once connected, a voice prompt will confirm successful pairing, and the earbud LEDs will turn off.

Note: The earbuds will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when removed from the case, if Bluetooth is enabled on the device.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Open the charging case, or long-press the touch area on both earbuds for 3 seconds.
• Power Off: Place the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid, or long-press the touch area on both earbuds for 5 seconds.

The Monyhigh S48 earbuds provide up to 8 hours of playback on a single charge, with the charging case extending total playtime to approximately 50 hours. The charging case features a dual LED digital display to show the battery status of both the case and individual earbuds.

• Charging the Earbuds: Place the earbuds into the charging case. They will automatically begin charging. The LED display on the case will show their charging status.
• Charging the Case: Connect the USB-C cable to the charging port on the case and a power adapter. The digital display will show the case's battery percentage increasing.

6. Water Resistance (IP7)

The S48 earbuds are certified with an IP7 waterproof rating. This means they are protected against immersion in water up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. They are resistant to sweat and rain, making them suitable for workouts and outdoor activities. However, the charging case is not waterproof. Avoid exposing the charging case to water.

Important: Do not charge the earbuds if they or the charging port are wet. Ensure they are completely dry before charging to prevent damage.

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the earbuds and charging contacts with a dry, soft cloth. Remove eartips and clean them with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly before reattaching.
• Storage: Store the earbuds in their charging case when not in use to protect them and keep them charged. Avoid extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the earbuds and case frequently. Charge them regularly, even if not used for extended periods.

• Earbuds not pairing with device:
  • Ensure earbuds are charged and out of the case.
  • Turn off and on Bluetooth on your device.
  • Forget "S48" from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
  • Reset the earbuds (refer to manufacturer's instructions if available, otherwise, place in case, close, then open).
• Only one earbud working:
  • Ensure both earbuds are charged.
  • Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, then open the lid and take them out again.
  • Check if the earbuds are properly connected to each other.
• Charging issues:
  • Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source.
  • Try a different USB-C cable or power adapter.
  • Clean the charging contacts on the earbuds and inside the case.
• Poor sound quality:
  • Ensure the earbuds are clean and free of debris.
  • Adjust the volume on both your device and the earbuds.
  • Move closer to your connected device to avoid interference.
  • Try different sized eartips for a better seal in your ear.
