3. Setup Instructions

1. Unpack the Device: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Position the Camera: Place the document camera base on a stable, flat surface. Unfold the camera arm to the desired height and angle. The arm is designed to articulate for optimal positioning.
3. Place the Positioning Pad: Lay the black positioning pad flat beneath the camera lens. Ensure the document to be scanned is aligned within the marked area on the pad.
4. Connect to Computer: Connect the document camera to your computer using the provided USB cable. The device is compatible with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems.
5. Install Software:
   • Scan the QR code in the Quick Guide or use the provided USB drive to download and install the NetumScan Pro Software.
   • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the software installation.
6. Power On: The camera will automatically power on when connected. The base features a light control knob for adjusting illumination.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Scanning

1. Launch Software: Double-click the NetumScan Pro Software icon on your desktop or find it in your Start Menu (Windows) / Applications (Mac OS).
2. Place Document: Position the document or book on the positioning pad, ensuring it is flat and properly aligned with the marks.
3. Adjust Lighting: Use the stepless dimming knob on the camera base to adjust the built-in LED light for optimal illumination.
4. Scan: Select the desired function (e.g., "Scan," "Document") from the main menu in the software. Click the "Scan" button to capture the image. The software features one-key automatic correction for skewed images.
