- Brakes: Test front and rear brakes for proper function and responsiveness.
- Chain: Inspect chain tension and lubrication. Adjust if needed.
- Controls: Ensure throttle, clutch, and gear shifter operate smoothly.
5.2. Starting the Engine
- Turn the fuel valve to the 'ON' position.
- If the engine is cold, engage the choke.
- Ensure the transmission is in neutral (N).
- Use the kick-start lever to start the engine.
- Once started, allow the engine to warm up. Disengage the choke as the engine warms.

5.4. Braking
The dirt bike is equipped with front and rear hydraulic disc brakes.
- Use both front and rear brakes simultaneously for effective stopping.
- Apply brakes smoothly and progressively to avoid locking the wheels, especially on loose surfaces.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and safe operation of your dirt bike.
6.1. Engine Oil
- Check oil level before each ride.
- Change engine oil every 10-15 hours of operation or as recommended by the engine manufacturer.
6.2. Chain Maintenance
- Clean and lubricate the drive chain every 5 hours of operation or after riding in wet/muddy conditions.
- Check chain tension regularly. Adjust as needed to maintain proper slack.
6.3. Brake System
- Inspect brake pads for wear before each ride. Replace if worn beyond limits.
- Check brake fluid level in the reservoirs. Top up with recommended fluid if low.
- Ensure brake lines are free from damage or leaks.
6.4. Air Filter
- Clean the air filter regularly, especially after dusty rides. A dirty air filter can reduce engine performance.
7. Troubleshooting
This section provides solutions for common issues. For complex problems, consult a qualified technician.

| Loss of power | Dirty air filter, old fuel, spark plug issue, carburetor adjustment. | Clean air filter, use fresh fuel, inspect/replace spark plug, adjust carburetor. |
| Brakes feel spongy | Low brake fluid, air in brake lines, worn brake pads. | Check fluid level, bleed brake lines, replace brake pads. |
| Chain noise/slipping | Loose chain, dry chain, worn sprockets. | Adjust chain tension, lubricate chain, inspect/replace sprockets. |
