  5. Stop Mixing: Once the desired dough consistency is achieved, turn the rotary switch to the OFF position.
  6. Dough Removal: To remove the dough, ensure the machine is completely stopped and unplugged. Pull the side latch to flip the mixing container 90 degrees. If needed, use the reverse rotation setting briefly to help detach the dough from the mixing rod. Carefully remove the dough.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and hygienic operation of your dough mixer.

  1. Daily Cleaning: After each use, ensure the machine is unplugged. Flip the mixing container 90 degrees using the side latch. Remove any remaining dough. Clean the mixing container and mixing rod with a damp cloth and mild, food-safe detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry immediately to prevent water spots and corrosion.
  2. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
  3. Gear Covers: The detachable 201 stainless steel gear covers can be removed for cleaning if necessary. Ensure they are securely reattached before next use.
  4. Motor Baffle: Periodically check the motor baffle for any debris or moisture accumulation and clean as needed.
  5. Storage: Store the mixer in a clean, dry environment when not in use.
  6. Important Note: As mentioned in safety instructions, do not ferment dough in the mixing container due to its acidic nature, which can cause erosion.
