5. Setup (Installation)
This ceiling fan is designed for flush mount installation. Detailed instructions and installation videos are available to guide you through the process. Ensure all power is off before beginning installation.
5.1 Pre-Installation Checks
- Confirm the ceiling electrical box is securely mounted and rated for fan support.
- Unpack all components and verify against the package contents list.
- Prepare necessary tools (screwdriver, wire strippers, ladder, etc.).
5.2 Mounting the Fan
- Attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling electrical box using the provided hardware. Ensure it is firmly secured.
- Make electrical connections according to the wiring diagram in the full instruction manual.
- Secure the fan motor assembly to the mounting bracket.
5.3 Attaching Fan Blades
The fan blades are reversible, offering a black or walnut finish. Choose the side that best complements your decor.
- Attach each fan blade to the motor assembly using the screws provided.
- Ensure all blades are securely fastened.

5.4 Installing the LED Light Kit and Lampshade
- Connect the LED light kit wiring to the fan motor assembly.
- Secure the LED light kit to the fan.
- Attach the lampshade by twisting or securing it into place.
6. Operating Instructions
Your Ayaoty ceiling fan can be controlled using the included remote control or a compatible smartphone application.
6.1 Remote Control Functions
The remote control allows for comprehensive operation of the fan and light.
- ON/OFF: Turn the fan and light on or off.
- Fan Speed (1-6): Adjust fan speed from level 1 (low) to 6 (high).
- Light Color Temperature: Cycle through Warm Light (3000K), Daylight (4000K), and Cool Light (6500K).
- Dimmable Light: Adjust brightness from 5% to 100%.
- Reversible Motor (FWD/REV): Change fan direction for summer (downward airflow) or winter (upward airflow).
- Timer (2H): Set the fan to turn off automatically after 2 hours.

6.2 App Control
The fan can also be controlled via a smartphone application. Scan the QR code provided in the full manual or visit http://www.jasonghost.com/fanlamppro/ to download the "Fan lamp Pro" app.
- Download and install the "Fan lamp Pro" app.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device.
- Select "Light Fan" and initiate the pairing process.
- Ensure the fan is powered on, then press the pair button on the app within 5 seconds.

6.3 Reversible Motor Function
The reversible DC motor allows for year-round comfort:
- Summer Mode: Blades rotate counter-clockwise, pushing air downwards to create a cooling breeze.
- Winter Mode: Blades rotate clockwise, drawing air upwards to circulate warm air trapped near the ceiling.

7. Maintenance
