4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Cooktop Operation

The cooktop features four sealed burners with continuous grates, allowing for easy movement of cookware. The auto-reignition system ensures the flame reignites automatically if it goes out.

  • Burner Ignition: To ignite a burner, push in and turn the corresponding control knob counter-clockwise to the "LITE" position. Hold until the burner ignites. Once ignited, adjust the flame to the desired intensity.
  • True Simmer Burners: These burners provide very low heat for delicate simmering tasks, ideal for sauces and stews.
  • Rocket Power Burner: One burner is a heavy-duty 21,000 BTU burner, designed for high-heat cooking such as stir-frying or using a wok.

The oven features a 4.2 cubic feet capacity, a 22,000 BTU convection oven, and a 16,000 BTU infra-red broiler. The interior is coated with fine blue porcelain, and it includes adjustable, telescopic stainless steel racks.

  • Preheating: Turn the oven control knob to the desired temperature. The oven will begin to preheat. An indicator light will typically turn off when the set temperature is reached.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

  • Stainless Steel Surfaces: Clean with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner. Always wipe in the direction of the grain.
