1. Important Safety Instructions

Read all instructions carefully before using the appliance. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Electrical Safety: Ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to your local mains voltage before connecting. Do not immerse the cord, plug, or appliance in water or other liquid.
  • Placement: Place the appliance on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or other appliances to allow adequate air circulation. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

  • Handling: Always use oven mitts when handling hot surfaces. The pan, basket, and interior surfaces become very hot during use.
  • Children: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Maintenance: Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow it to cool completely before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
