Setup

The QUEMARQUE HHPRESSMACHINE requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps to prepare your machine for use:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit.
  2. Placement: Place the machine on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for ventilation and safe operation. The non-slip pads on the base provide stability.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the machine's power inlet and then to a grounded 110V power outlet.
  4. Pressure Adjustment: The machine's pressure is set to minimum from the factory. Before first use, adjust the pressure according to your material. Turn the pressure adjusting nut clockwise to increase pressure and anti-clockwise to decrease pressure. Test with a scrap piece of material to find the optimal setting.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for successful heat transfer onto hats:

  1. Power On: Flip the power switch to the 'ON' position. The digital display will illuminate.
  2. Set Temperature: Use the control panel buttons to set the desired temperature (0-400°F / -18-204°C) based on your transfer material and hat fabric. Refer to your transfer material's instructions for recommended settings.
  3. Set Time: Use the control panel buttons to set the desired pressing time (0-999 seconds). Refer to your transfer material's instructions.
  4. Preheat: Allow the machine to preheat until it reaches the set temperature. The 'HEATING' indicator light will turn off when the target temperature is reached.
  5. Prepare Hat: Place the hat onto the appropriate hat pad. Use the spring-loaded cap clip to secure the hat firmly in place, ensuring a smooth, wrinkle-free surface for transfer.
  6. Position Design: Place your transfer design onto the hat in the desired position. Secure it with heat-resistant tape if necessary.
  7. Press: Carefully lower the upper platen onto the hat, ensuring the design is properly aligned. Apply firm, even pressure by closing the clamshell. The timer will automatically begin counting down.
  8. Release: Once the timer reaches zero, carefully lift the upper platen.
  9. Remove Design: Follow your transfer material's instructions for hot or cold peel. Carefully remove the transfer paper.
  10. Repeat: For multiple items, repeat steps 5-9.
