- For the wireless model (ST-9616C), charge the battery periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) to maintain battery health if not used regularly.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your air pump, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Pump does not turn on:
- For ST-9616A (Wired): Check if the 12V cigarette lighter port has power. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in.
- For ST-9616C (Wireless): Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a charger and try again.
- Press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds to ensure it's not a short press.
- Pump runs but does not inflate:
- Check if the inflation hose is securely screwed onto the pump and the valve stem.
- Ensure the correct nozzle adapter is used and properly attached.
- Verify that the valve stem is not damaged or blocked.
- Pump stops prematurely (not at target pressure):
- For ST-9616C (Wireless): The battery might be low. Recharge the pump.
- The pump might have overheated. Allow it to cool down for 15-20 minutes before resuming operation.
- Check for leaks in the hose or connections.
- Inaccurate pressure reading:
- Ensure the hose is fully connected to the valve stem without air leakage.
- Compare the reading with a known accurate pressure gauge if available.
If the problem persists, please contact Cousopo customer support.
