2. Safety Information

5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Receiver Installation

The receiver unit must be securely mounted in a suitable location near the machinery it will control. Ensure the location is free from excessive vibration, heat, and direct impact. Refer to the wiring diagram on the receiver unit for correct electrical connections.

  1. Mounting: Secure the receiver unit using appropriate fasteners to a stable surface.
  2. Wiring: Connect the receiver's wires to the corresponding control circuits of your machinery. Pay close attention to the color-coded wires and their functions as indicated on the receiver's label (e.g., BLACK for POWER, RED for COM, YELLOW for UP, GREEN for DOWN, etc.). Ensure all connections are tight and insulated.
  3. Power Supply: Connect the receiver to an AC24V (50-60HZ) power source.
  4. Antenna Placement: Position the antenna for optimal signal reception, avoiding metallic obstructions.

5.2 Remote Control Battery Installation

Each remote control requires two (2) AA batteries (not included).

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide or unclip the cover to open the compartment.
  3. Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover securely.

6. Operating Instructions

Once the receiver is installed and powered, and batteries are in the remote controls, you can begin operation.

  1. Power On: Ensure the main power to the controlled machinery is on. The receiver's LED indicator should illuminate, signifying it is powered and ready.
  2. Remote Control Functions: The remote controls feature directional buttons (UP, DOWN, EAST, WEST, NORTH, SOUTH) and control buttons (START, STOP).
  3. Initiate Operation: Press the 'START' button on the remote control to activate the system.
  4. Directional Control: Use the directional buttons to move the crane or machinery as required. The high sensitivity ensures a quick response.
  5. Stop Operation: Press the 'STOP' button to halt all operations. In an emergency, this button will immediately cease movement.
  6. Monitoring: Observe the receiver's LED light for operational status.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable performance of your remote control kit.

  • Battery Replacement: Replace remote control batteries when performance degrades or the indicator light (if present on remote) signals low power. Always replace both batteries simultaneously.
  • Cleaning: Due to its IP67 rating, the units can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure all ports and covers are sealed before cleaning.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the receiver's wiring for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections. Check the remote controls for physical damage.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove batteries from the remote controls and store the kit in a cool, dry place.
