1. Introduction

The Aspera F50 4G Flip Phone is designed for simplicity and ease of use. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your device. It features 4G connectivity, a compact flip design, a charging cradle for convenience, and an integrated SOS button for emergencies.

2. Setup

2.1. Battery and SIM Card Installation

  1. Carefully remove the back cover of the phone.
  2. Insert your Nano SIM card into the designated slot. Ensure the gold contacts face downwards and the notched corner aligns correctly.
  3. Insert the provided Lithium-ion battery into its compartment, aligning the contacts.
  4. Replace the back cover, ensuring it clicks securely into place.

2.2. Charging Your Phone

Your Aspera F50 can be charged using two methods:

  • Using the Charging Cradle: Place the F50 into the charging cradle. The indicator on the front display will signal that the battery is charging.
  • Using the USB-C Port: Connect the provided USB-C charging cable directly to the phone's USB-C port and then to a power adapter. The USB-C connector is reversible, allowing for easy insertion.

3. Operating Your Phone

3.1. Power On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the red 'End Call' button until the screen illuminates.
  • To power off, press and hold the red 'End Call' button, then confirm 'Power off' on the screen.

3.2. Making and Receiving Calls

  • Making a Call: Dial the number using the keypad and press the green 'Call' button.
  • Receiving a Call: When the phone rings, open the flip and press the green 'Call' button to answer. Close the flip or press the red 'End Call' button to end the call.
  • Speed Dial: Utilize the dedicated M1, M2, M3 keys for frequently called numbers. Refer to your phone's settings to assign contacts to these keys.

3.3. Sending SMS Messages

  1. Navigate to the 'Messages' menu.
  2. Select 'Write Message' or 'New SMS'.
  3. Enter your message using the keypad.
  4. Enter the recipient's number or select from contacts, then send.

3.4. Using the Camera

The Aspera F50 features a 0.3MP rear camera. Access the camera from the main menu to take photos or record videos.

3.5. SOS Emergency Button

The integrated SOS button on the back cover can be configured to dial emergency contacts when pressed for 5 seconds. Ensure emergency contacts are set up in the phone's settings for this feature to function correctly.

3.6. Torch Function

Activate the built-in torch (flashlight) function for illumination in dark environments. This can typically be accessed via a dedicated button or through the phone's menu.
