• Do not overload the tabletop or foldable countertop beyond their weight capacities. The tabletop capacity is 200 lbs, and the foldable countertop capacity is 80 lbs.

3. Setup and Assembly

Assembly of the Rovibek Kitchen Island is required. The estimated assembly time is approximately 40-60 minutes for experienced assemblers. Individual assembly times may vary. All necessary hardware and instructions are included.

Assembly Steps:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully unpack all parts and hardware. Verify that all components listed in the parts list are present and undamaged.
2. Follow Illustrated Instructions: Refer to the detailed, step-by-step pictorial instructions provided in the packaging. Ensure each step is completed accurately before proceeding.
3. Secure Connections: Tighten all screws and fasteners firmly. Avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to the wood.
4. Install Wheels or Legs: Decide whether to use the universal wheels for mobility or the solid wood legs for a stationary setup. Attach the chosen components to the base of the island as per the instructions.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Using the Foldable Countertop

The kitchen island features a foldable countertop that can be extended to provide additional workspace or dining area. To extend, gently lift the foldable section and secure it with the support brackets. To fold down, release the support brackets and carefully lower the section until it rests against the main body of the island.

4.2 Utilizing Mobility and Stability

If the wheels are installed, the island can be easily moved. To move, ensure the brakes on the two locking wheels are disengaged. To stabilize the island in a desired location, engage the brakes on the two wheels. If the solid wood legs are installed, the island will remain stationary.

4.3 Adjusting Inner Shelves

The cabinet features an adjustable inner shelf. To change the shelf height, remove any items from the shelf, lift the shelf, and reposition the shelf pegs into the desired height slots. There are 3 height options available.

4.4 Storage Features

The island includes three drawers for smaller items, a spice rack on one side, and towel bars on the other side for convenient access to kitchen essentials.

• Cleaning: Wipe the surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. For spills, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.
• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or household cleaners as they may damage the finish of the wood and MDF components.
• Regular Checks: Periodically inspect all hardware and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
• Protect Surfaces: Use placemats or coasters to protect the countertop from heat, moisture, and scratches.
