4. Installation Instructions

The GREEN PARTY Panel Clamps are designed for easy and efficient installation. Follow these steps to securely connect your tent panels or pipe frames.

4.1 Preparing the Pipes

Ensure that the round rails (35mm diameter) and round posts (38mm diameter) you intend to connect are clean, free of debris, and properly aligned. The clamps are specifically sized for these dimensions to ensure a snug fit.

4.2 Attaching the Clamps

1. Position the two pipe sections you wish to connect parallel to each other, ensuring they are at the desired distance for the clamp.
2. Place one half of the galvanized panel clamp around one pipe section and the other half around the second pipe section.
3. Align the holes on both halves of the clamp. Insert the carriage bolts through the aligned holes.
4. Thread the nuts onto the carriage bolts and hand-tighten them initially.
5. Using an appropriate wrench (not included), gradually tighten the nuts until the clamp firmly grips both pipe sections. Do not overtighten.

4.3 Securing Panels/Tarps (Optional)

If your application involves securing tarps or fabric panels, use the provided ball bungees:

1. Locate the grommets or attachment points on your tarp or panel.
2. Pass the elastic loop of a ball bungee through the grommet.
3. Wrap the loop around a pipe section of the tent frame.
4. Pull the ball end through the loop to create a secure, tensioned connection.
5. Repeat for all necessary attachment points to ensure the tarp is taut and secure.
