4. Safety Information

  • Use only 3 AA batteries per puck light. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
  • Ensure correct battery polarity (+/-) when inserting.
  • Remove batteries if the lights will not be used for an extended period.
  • This product is designed for indoor and dry locations only. Do not expose to water or high humidity.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

5. Setup & Installation

The puck lights offer two convenient installation methods: adhesive pads or screws.

5.1. Battery Installation

  1. Twist the front cover of the puck light counter-clockwise to unscrew and open it.
  2. Insert 3 AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Align the cover and twist clockwise to fasten securely.

5.2. Mounting with Adhesive Pads

  1. Clean the desired mounting surface thoroughly to ensure it is dry and free of dust or grease.
  2. Peel off one side of the double-sided adhesive pad and firmly attach it to the back cover of the puck light.
  3. Peel off the other side of the adhesive pad.
  4. Press the puck light firmly onto the cleaned surface for several seconds. For best adhesion results, wait 24 hours before inserting batteries and using the light.

5.3. Mounting with Screws

  1. Twist the front cover of the puck light counter-clockwise to unscrew and remove it.
  2. Position the back cover on the desired surface and mark the screw holes.
  3. Drill pilot holes if necessary, then fix the back cover to the surface using the included screws.
  4. Insert 3 AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment.
  5. Align the puck light with the fixed back cover and twist clockwise to fasten securely.

6. Operating Instructions

The puck lights can be controlled via touch or the included remote control.

6.1. Touch Control

  • Short Press: Tap the front cover to turn the light on or change its color.
  • Long Press: Press and hold the front cover for approximately 2 seconds to turn the light off.

6.2. Remote Control Functions

Ensure the remote control is pointed towards the puck light's sensor for optimal response. Remove the insulation patch from the remote before first use.

  • ON/OFF: Press the 'ON' button to turn on all paired lights, and 'OFF' to turn them off.
  • Brightness Adjustment: Use the sun icon buttons (up/down arrows) to adjust brightness across 10 levels (10% to 100%).
  • Color Temperature: Select 'WW' for Warm White (2700K), 'NW' for Natural White (4000K), or 'CW' for Cool White (6000K).
  • RGB Colors: Choose from 15 vivid static colors using the color buttons.
  • Dynamic Modes:
    • SMOOTH: Cycles through colors with a smooth transition.
    • FLASH: Cycles through colors with a quick flash transition.
  • Timer Settings: Press '30MIN', '60MIN', or '120MIN' to set an auto-off timer. By default, lights will turn off after 4 hours if no timer is set.

7. Maintenance

7.1. Cleaning

Wipe the puck lights with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

7.2. Battery Replacement

When the light output dims significantly or the remote control becomes unresponsive, it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 5.1.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Light not turning on: Check if batteries are inserted correctly with proper polarity. Replace with fresh batteries if needed.
  • Remote not working: Ensure the remote's insulation patch is removed. Check or replace the remote's battery. Point the remote directly at the puck light's sensor.
  • Adhesive not holding: Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and smooth. Apply firm pressure for several seconds during installation and allow 24 hours for optimal adhesion.
  • Lights flickering or dim: Replace all 3 AA batteries in the affected puck light.
