Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your TMEZON WiFi Video Intercom System.

1. Wiring and Installation

The system utilizes a wired connection between the indoor monitor and the outdoor doorbell for stable power and video transmission. Ensure proper wiring according to the provided diagram in the full user manual. The monitor and camera can be up to 300 feet apart, depending on wire size.

  • Mounting the Outdoor Doorbell: Choose a suitable location near your entrance. The doorbell camera is IP65 weatherproof.
  • Mounting the Indoor Monitor: Select a convenient indoor location near a power outlet.
  • Connecting Components: Connect the doorbell camera to the indoor monitor using the provided 4-conductor wire. Connect the power supply to the indoor monitor.

2. Network Connection (Wi-Fi)

The indoor monitor supports Wi-Fi connectivity to allow remote access via the TUYA app. Connect the monitor to your wireless router for smartphone integration.

Operating Instructions

Real-Time Response and Two-Way Audio

When a visitor presses the doorbell, you will receive notifications on your TUYA app. You can then see, hear, and speak to the visitor directly from your smartphone or the indoor monitor.

Remote and Local Unlocking

The system supports multiple methods for door release:

  • Remote Unlock (TUYA App): Unlock your door from anywhere using the TUYA app on your smartphone.
  • RFID Card Unlock: Use the provided RFID key tags to quickly unlock the door.
  • Monitor Unlock: Directly unlock the door from the indoor monitor's touchscreen.

Automatic Snapshot and Recording

The doorbell camera automatically captures snapshots or records video when a visitor presses the doorbell or when motion is detected. These recordings are saved to a Micro SD card (sold separately) for later review.

Motion Detection

The outdoor doorbell camera features a 125° wide-angle lens and built-in infrared sensor for night vision, providing comprehensive motion detection coverage. You will receive alerts on your smartphone when motion is detected.

Local & Cloud Storage

Recorded videos and snapshots can be stored locally on a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) or via cloud service (if subscribed). This allows for 24/7 recording and playback as needed.

Multi-Device Connectivity

The system supports connecting up to 6 monitors, 2 doorbells, and 2 CCTV cameras. It allows for dual-way communication between monitors and cameras, as well as between multiple monitors. Call forwarding is also supported among all connected monitors.

Automatic Message Mode
