Important Note: This is an infrared (IR) replacement remote control. While it supports the main functions of your air conditioner, it may not replicate all advanced features found on the original remote. This remote control displays temperature settings exclusively in Celsius.
Setup
Battery Installation
The remote control requires two (2) AAA batteries (not included). Follow these steps to install them:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the cover downwards or press the latch and lift to open.
- Insert two new 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the indicators inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover, sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.
Note: For optimal performance and to prevent leakage, use new alkaline batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries. Remove batteries if the remote control will not be used for an extended period.

Operation
Remote Control Functions
After installing batteries, the remote control is ready for use. No programming or pairing is required. Point the remote directly at your Inventor air conditioner unit to send commands.

Button Overview
- ON/OFF: Powers the air conditioner on or off.
- Mode: Cycles through available operating modes (e.g., Cool, Heat, Fan, Dry, Auto).
- Fan: Adjusts the fan speed (e.g., Low, Medium, High, Auto).
- +/ -: Increases or decreases the temperature setting.
- Timer: Sets a timer for automatic power on or off.
- Sleep: Activates the sleep mode, which adjusts temperature and fan speed for comfortable sleep.
- LED: Controls the display light on the air conditioner unit.
- Follow me: Activates the 'Follow Me' function, allowing the unit to sense temperature at the remote's location (if supported by AC unit).
- Turbo: Initiates rapid cooling or heating for quick temperature changes.
- Shortcut: Recalls a previously saved favorite setting.
- Self clean: Activates the self-cleaning function of the air conditioner (if supported by AC unit).
- Directional Arrows: Used for navigation within menus or adjusting specific settings.

Common Issues and Solutions
- Remote not responding to commands:
- Ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote control and the air conditioner unit.

- Replace the batteries with new alkaline AAA batteries. Avoid using rechargeable batteries.
- Limited functionality compared to original remote:
- This is a replacement infrared remote control. It is designed to operate the main functions of your air conditioner. Some advanced or specific features of the original remote may not be supported.
- Temperature display is only in Celsius:
- This remote control is designed to display temperature exclusively in Celsius and does not support Fahrenheit display.
- Remote does not work with my air conditioner model:
