3. Installation and Setup
Proper installation is crucial for the performance and safety of your range hood. A shop drawing will be provided upon order placement to assist with precise installation.
3.1 Pre-Installation Checklist
- Verify all components are present and undamaged.
- Ensure adequate structural support in the wall for mounting.
- Confirm electrical supply (120 Volts) is available and meets local codes.
- Prepare an 8-inch round exhaust duct opening.
3.2 Mounting the Range Hood
- Carefully review the provided shop drawing for specific measurements and mounting points.
- Mark the mounting locations on the wall according to the drawing.
- Install appropriate wall anchors or support brackets as required.
- Lift the range hood into position and secure it to the wall mounts.

3.3 Ductwork and Electrical Connection
- Connect the 8-inch round exhaust top vent to your kitchen's duct system. Ensure a tight seal to prevent air leaks.
- Plug the power cord with the 3-prong plug into a grounded 120V electrical outlet.
- Verify all connections are secure before proceeding.

4. Operating Instructions
Your range hood is equipped with user-friendly push button controls for fan speed and lighting.
4.1 Fan Operation
- Press the On/Off button to power on the fan.
- Use the Increase Value and Decrease Value buttons to select one of the four fan speeds (up to 1260 CFM).
- To activate the delay shutdown feature, press and hold the On/Off button for 3 seconds while the fan is running. The fan will continue to operate for a set period before automatically turning off.
- Press the On/Off button again to turn off the fan immediately.
4.2 Lighting Control
- Press the Light button to turn the LED lights on or off.
- The LED lights provide illumination for your cooking area.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your range hood.
5.1 Cleaning Baffle Filters
The stainless steel baffle filters are dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.
- Ensure the range hood is turned off and cool before removing filters.
- Locate the release tabs or handles on each baffle filter.
- Pull down or slide the filters out of their slots.
- Place the filters in a dishwasher or wash them by hand with warm, soapy water.
- Allow filters to dry completely before re-installing.
- Slide the clean filters back into their slots until they click securely into place.
5.2 Cleaning the Exterior
The range hood features a fingerprint-resistant surface.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive pads, as these can damage the finish.
- Regularly empty and clean the oil collector to prevent grease buildup.

6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your range hood, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
