2. Safety Information

4. Setup Instructions

The Smartmak Portable Far Infrared Sauna is designed for quick and easy assembly, typically taking around 5 minutes.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging and place them on a clean, flat surface.
  2. Assemble PVC Frame: Connect the PVC pipes according to the diagram provided in the separate assembly sheet (not included in this manual) to form the sauna tent's structural frame. Ensure all connections are secure.
  3. Drape Sauna Tent: Carefully drape the sauna tent fabric over the assembled PVC frame. Ensure the tent is properly aligned and covers the frame completely.
  4. Install Heating Panels: Position the carbon crystal heating panels inside the tent, securing them as indicated by the tent's design (e.g., using Velcro straps).
  5. Place Footpad and Chair: Place the heated footpad on the floor inside the sauna tent. Unfold the reinforced chair and place it on top of the footpad.
  6. Connect Power: Connect the sauna's power cord to a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the remote control is connected to the sauna unit.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to operate your Smartmak Portable Far Infrared Sauna:

  1. Power On: Ensure the sauna is plugged into a power outlet. Use the remote control to turn on the sauna.
  2. Set Temperature: Use the remote control to set your desired temperature. The sauna can reach temperatures between 107°F (41°C) and 140°F (60°C).
  3. Set Time: Use the remote control to set the duration of your session, from 0 to 60 minutes.
  4. Preheat: Allow the sauna to preheat for 5-10 minutes to reach the desired temperature.
  5. Enter Sauna: Open the double-sided zippers, enter the sauna, and sit comfortably on the chair. Close the zippers completely to retain heat.
  6. During Session: You can adjust the temperature or time using the remote control from inside the sauna. The front removable window can be opened for fresh air if needed. Utilize the double pockets for holding books or a mobile phone.
  7. End Session: The sauna will automatically turn off after the set time. You can also manually turn it off using the remote control. Exit the sauna and allow your body to cool down gradually.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your sauna.

  • Cleaning the Tent: After each use, wipe the interior of the sauna tent with a damp cloth to remove sweat and moisture. For deeper cleaning, use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Ensure the tent is completely dry before folding or storing.
  • Cleaning the Footpad: The heated footpad can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water.
  • Storage: When not in use, the sauna tent can be disassembled and folded for compact storage. The foldable chair comes with a carry bag for convenience. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Regular Checks: Periodically inspect the power cord, remote control, and heating elements for any signs of damage or wear. If any issues are found, discontinue use and contact customer support.
