The Thinlute Screen Tent is designed for quick and easy setup, typically taking two people approximately 5 minutes. No tools are required.

Step 2: Insert Diagonal Poles
Pass the two thin poles marked with red into the diagonal sleeves of the screen tent fabric. These poles form the initial cross-structure of the roof.

Step 3: Insert Perimeter Poles
Pass the four thicker poles with blue marks around the perimeter sleeves of the tent. These poles will form the main support structure for the roof and upper walls.

Step 4: Attach G-Hooks
Attach the G-hooks located on the fabric to the corresponding steel poles. This secures the fabric to the frame.

Step 5: Insert Diagonal Leg Poles
Insert the two diagonal thick leg poles into their designated slots. Once inserted, put them on the other two leg poles to create the tent's height and structure.

Step 6: Secure Leg Poles
Fix the other end of each leg pole to the pin ring at the bottom of the tent. Adjust the length of the poles as needed to ensure the tent is taut and stable.

Step 7: Adjust and Tie Wind Ropes
Adjust the surroundings of the screen room to ensure proper tension. Tie the provided wind ropes to the designated loops on the tent and secure them to the ground using stakes. This significantly increases stability.

Step 8: Install Ground Nails/Stakes
Install the ground nails (stakes) through the loops at the base of the tent and into the ground. This prevents the tent from shifting and helps keep insects from entering from underneath.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Tent is unstable or sways in wind. | Not properly staked or guyed out; poles not fully connected. | Ensure all stakes are firmly in the ground and guy lines are taut. Check that all pole sections are fully inserted and locked. |
| Insects are getting inside. | Zippers not fully closed; gaps at the bottom; damaged mesh. | Close all zippers completely. Ensure the tent base is flush with the ground and secured with stakes. Inspect mesh for tears and repair if necessary. |
| Water pooling on the roof or leaking. | Tent not taut enough; heavy rain exceeding water resistance. | Adjust poles and guy lines to ensure the roof is taut and water can run off. In very heavy rain, consider dismantling the tent. |
| Difficulty assembling poles. | Poles are stiff or dirty; incorrect pole used. | Ensure poles are clean. Refer to setup instructions to confirm correct pole placement (red for diagonal, blue for perimeter). Apply light lubricant if poles are stiff. |
