1. Introduction and Safety Information

Important Safety Precautions:

• Always place the hot plate on a stable, heat-resistant, and dry surface.
• Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance during use.
• Do not touch the hot plate surface immediately after use, as it remains hot. The LED display will show "HOT" as a caution.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
• Unplug the hot plate from the power outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
• During first use, the hot plate may emit a slight odor or smoke as protective coatings burn off. This is normal and should dissipate within 15 minutes. Ensure good ventilation during this initial period.

3. Setup and First Use

Unpacking:

1. Carefully remove the hot plate and all packaging materials from the box.
2. Inspect the appliance for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
3. Ensure all included components (power cord, user manual) are present.

Placement:

Place the hot plate on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for proper ventilation (at least 4 inches from walls or other appliances).

Initial Burn-Off:

Before cooking food, operate the hot plate empty for approximately 15 minutes at a medium power setting. This allows any manufacturing residues or protective coatings to burn off. Ensure the area is well-ventilated during this process.

4. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

• Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
• Touch the ON/OFF button on the control panel to turn the hot plate on. The LED display will illuminate.
• To turn off, touch the ON/OFF button again.

Adjusting Power Levels:

• After turning on the hot plate, the default power setting will be displayed.
• Use the UP (▲) and DOWN (▼) buttons to adjust the power level between 100W and 1500W. There are 15 distinct power stages.
• The current power setting will be shown on the LED display.

Setting the Timer:

• Press the MENU button to switch the display mode from power setting to timer setting.
• Use the UP (▲) and DOWN (▼) buttons to set the desired cooking time, up to a maximum of 2 hours.
• Once the timer is set, the hot plate will operate for the specified duration and then automatically turn off.

Overheat Reminder:

If the cooktop surface becomes excessively hot, the LED display will show "HOT" to alert you. Exercise caution and avoid touching the surface until it has cooled down.

6. Care and Maintenance

Cleaning:

• Always unplug the hot plate and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Wipe the ceramic glass surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive cleaner designed for glass cooktops can be used.
• Do not use abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, or steel wool, as these can scratch the surface.
• Wipe the exterior housing with a soft, damp cloth.
• Ensure the hot plate is completely dry before storing or next use.

Cooling Fan:

The hot plate is equipped with a built-in cooling fan. This fan will continue to operate for a short period after the hot plate is turned off to ensure rapid cooling of internal components and the cooktop surface. This is a normal function and helps prolong the life of the appliance.
