1. Introduction

The AVM FRITZ!Box 6670 Cable is a high-performance modem router designed for cable internet connections. It integrates a DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem, offering backward compatibility with DOCSIS 3.0. 3. Setup

3.1. Connecting to the Cable Network

Connect the coaxial cable from your cable wall outlet to the 'Cable' port on the FRITZ!Box 6670. Ensure the connection is secure.

3.2. Connecting to Power

Connect the power adapter to the 'Power' port on the FRITZ!Box and then plug it into an electrical outlet. The 'Power/Cable' LED on the front panel will light up.

Once the 'Power/Cable' LED is solid, open a web browser on a connected device (via Wi-Fi or LAN) and enter 'fritz.box' or '192.168.178.1' into the address bar. 3.5. Telephony (DECT)

For DECT phones, press the 'Fon/DECT' button on the FRITZ!Box to register new DECT handsets.
