Important Safety Information

Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper setup of your portable air conditioner:
- Positioning the Unit: Place the air conditioner on a flat, stable surface near a window and a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure there is at least 20 inches (50 cm) of space around the unit for proper airflow.
- Installing the Exhaust Hose:
- Screw the hose inlet adapter onto one end of the exhaust hose.
- Screw the hose outlet adapter onto the other end of the exhaust hose.
- Insert the hose inlet adapter into the exhaust port on the back of the air conditioner unit.
- Window Kit Installation:
- Adjust the window slider kit to fit your window opening. Secure it in place.
- Insert the hose outlet adapter into the opening of the window slider kit, ensuring a tight seal to prevent air leakage.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 115V/60Hz electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions
The KIMORE Portable Air Conditioner offers three primary operating modes: Cool, Dehumidify, and Fan.
Control Panel and Remote Control
The unit can be controlled via the touch control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control. The remote control has a range of up to 20 feet.

Operating Modes

- Cool Mode:
Press the "Mode" button until the snowflake icon appears. Adjust the temperature using the Up/Down arrows (64°F-90°F). The unit will cool the room to the set temperature. Fan speed can be adjusted (High/Low/Automatic).

- Dehumidify Mode (Dry):
Press the "Mode" button until the water droplet icon appears. In this mode, the unit removes excess moisture from the air (up to 60.8 pints per 24 hours). The fan speed is automatically controlled and cannot be adjusted manually.
- Fan Mode:
Press the "Mode" button until the fan icon appears. In this mode, the unit circulates air without cooling. You can select High, Low, or Automatic fan speeds.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air conditioner.
Cleaning the Air Filter
The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Unplug the air conditioner from the power outlet.
- Locate the air filter panel on the back of the unit.
- Slide out the filter gently.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not expose to direct sunlight.

Draining Water (Dehumidify Mode)
While the unit has a self-evaporating system, in high humidity conditions or prolonged dehumidifier use, the internal water tank may fill up. The unit will stop operating and display an error code when full. Drain the water as follows:
- Unplug the air conditioner.
- Place a shallow pan or tray under the drain port located at the bottom rear of the unit.
- Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
- Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.
