7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your PT5000, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device does not power on. | Battery is depleted or not properly installed. External power not connected or faulty. | Charge the internal battery. Ensure the power adapter is securely connected and functioning. |
| Remote control is unresponsive or has limited range. | Remote control batteries are low. Interference from other 2.4G devices. Out of range. | Replace remote control batteries. Move away from sources of interference. Ensure you are within the specified 120m range. |
| Movement is jerky or inconsistent. | Camera not balanced correctly. Overload (exceeding 5KG). | Re-balance the camera on the quick release plate. Ensure total weight (camera + lens) does not exceed 5KG. |
| Remote control directions are reversed (e.g., pressing up moves down). | This can sometimes occur due to specific settings or unit variations. | While there is no explicit setting to reverse controls, some users have found temporarily holding the remote upside down or adjusting their grip can help. Refer to the remote's specific manual for advanced configuration if available. |
