3. Product Overview

The Septekon 2K Indoor Security Camera features 2K resolution, 360-degree panoramic view, two-way audio, night vision, motion detection, and compatibility with Alexa. It is designed for indoor use to monitor your home, pets, or children.

4. Setup

4.1 App Download and Account Creation

  1. Download the Septekon App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new account.

4.2 Powering On the Camera

  1. Connect the provided power adapter to the camera's power port.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet. The camera will power on and initiate its startup sequence.

4.3 Connecting to Wi-Fi and Pairing

The camera supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks only. Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during the pairing process.

  1. In the Septekon App, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
  2. Select your camera model from the list.
  3. Follow the app's instructions to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. This typically involves scanning a QR code displayed on your phone screen with the camera lens.
  4. Once connected, the camera will indicate successful pairing (e.g., a voice prompt or LED indicator change).

4.4 Mounting the Camera

The camera is designed for surface mounting. Choose a location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within range of a power outlet and your Wi-Fi network.

  1. Mark the desired mounting position on a flat surface (e.g., wall, ceiling, shelf).
  2. Use the provided screws and anchors to secure the camera base.
  3. Adjust the camera's position as needed after mounting.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Live View and Pan/Tilt Control

Access the live feed of your camera through the Septekon App. You can remotely control the camera's viewing angle.

  1. Open the Septekon App and select the desired camera from your device list.
  2. The live video feed will appear.
  3. Use the on-screen controls to pan (rotate horizontally up to 320°) and tilt (rotate vertically up to 80°) the camera lens.
  4. Utilize the digital zoom feature to enlarge specific areas of the video feed.

5.2 Two-Way Audio

The camera features a built-in microphone and speaker, allowing for two-way communication.

  1. While in live view, tap the microphone icon in the app.
  2. Speak into your phone's microphone to transmit audio through the camera's speaker.
  3. Release the microphone icon to listen through the camera's microphone.

5.3 Night Vision

The camera automatically switches to night vision mode in low-light conditions, providing clear black and white video.

5.4 Motion Detection and Alerts

  1. Enable motion detection in the camera settings within the Septekon App.
