1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Winado Portable Swamp Cooler. This 3-in-1 evaporative air cooler functions as a cooling fan, a standard fan (without ice pack), and a humidifier, effectively lowering air temperature and increasing humidity. It features a convenient 12-hour timer and is designed for ease of use and portability. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure proper use and maintenance.
2. Important Safety Instructions
- Always place the cooler on a stable, level surface.
- Do not immerse the unit, plug, or cord in water or other liquids.
- Unplug the cooler from the power outlet before filling, cleaning, or performing any maintenance.
- Ensure the water tank is filled to the appropriate level (between MIN and MAX) before using the cooling function.
- Keep children and pets away from the unit during operation.
- Do not block air inlets or outlets.
- Use only with a grounded electrical outlet.
- Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug.

4. Setup Guide
4.1 Unpacking and Wheel Installation
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Turn the unit upside down. Insert the four casters into the designated holes at the bottom of the cooler. Two of the casters are lockable; ensure these are placed at the front for easy access.
- Turn the unit upright.

4.2 Filling the Water Tank and Adding Ice Packs
- Open the top water inlet cover.
- Place the provided ice packs into the designated compartments within the water tank.
- Carefully pour clean water into the tank. Ensure the water level is between the 'MIN' and 'MAX' indicators on the water level line. Do not overfill.
- Close the top water inlet cover securely.

5. Operating Instructions
The cooler can be operated using the digital control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.
5.1 Control Panel and Remote Control Functions
- ON/OFF: Press to turn the unit on or off.
- COOL: Activates the cooling function. This function requires water in the tank. Do not press if there is no water inside.
- MODE: Cycles through 3 wind modes: Normal, Natural, and Sleep.
- SPEED: Adjusts fan speed between Low, Medium, and High.
- SWING: Activates the auto-oscillation function (90° swing) for wider air distribution.
- TIMER: Sets the operating timer for up to 12 hours.

5.2 Using the Cooling Function (Evaporative Cooling)
For optimal cooling, ensure the water tank is filled and ice packs are in place. Press the 'COOL' button on the control panel or remote. The unit will begin to circulate water over the cooling pads, producing a cooler, humidified airflow.
5.3 Fan Only Mode
To use the unit as a standard fan without evaporative cooling, do not add water to the tank or press the 'COOL' button. Simply turn the unit on and select your desired fan speed and oscillation settings.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your swamp cooler.
6.1 Cleaning the Water Tank
- Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
- Locate the marked drain at the bottom of the unit. Open the drain plug to empty the water tank.
- Clean the inside of the tank with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Close the drain plug securely before refilling.
6.2 Cleaning Air Filters
The unit features removable and easily cleanable filters. Refer to the side of the unit for filter access. Gently remove the filters, wash them with water and mild soap, rinse thoroughly, and allow them to air dry completely before reinserting.
6.3 Storage
When not in use for extended periods, empty and clean the water tank and filters. Store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
7. Troubleshooting
