1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the Banglijian Rechargeable Hearing Aid, a personal sound amplification product (PSAP) designed for adults and seniors. It is intended to assist individuals with mild, moderate, and moderate-severe hearing loss by amplifying sounds and reducing background noise. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper operation and care.

The device features a small, behind-the-ear (BTE) design with a pre-assembled slim tube, offering comfort and ease of use. It includes a charging dock for convenient recharging and intelligent environmental noise reduction for clearer sound in various settings.

2. Product Components

The Banglijian Rechargeable Hearing Aid package includes the following items:

  • Hearing Device (with pre-installed left slim tube)

3. Setup and Charging

3.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Upon receiving your Banglijian Hearing Aid, carefully unbox all components and inspect them for any damage. Ensure all listed items in Section 2 are present.

3.2 Charging Your Device

Before first use, fully charge the hearing aid. The charging dock features magnetic attraction for secure placement.

  1. Insert the USB-C cable into the charging dock.
  2. Align the device's gold contacts with the dock's slot and place it in. The device light will indicate charging status.
  3. A red device light indicates charging. A green device light indicates fully charged. A blue dock light indicates charging is active.
  4. Charging typically takes 2 to 4 hours for a full charge, providing approximately 15 to 20 hours of rated working time. The dock has overcharge protection, automatically powering off after a full charge.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection

  • To turn the device ON or OFF, press and hold the Power/Program button (2) for 3 seconds.
  • To switch between the two program modes, tap the Power/Program button (2) briefly.

4.2 Volume Adjustment

The device features 10 levels of volume control.

  • To increase volume, press the Volume Up button (3).
  • To decrease volume, press the Volume Down button (4).

4.3 Selecting the Correct Tube and Ear Dome

The Banglijian Hearing Aid comes with both slim and thick sound tubes, along with various ear domes, to accommodate different levels of hearing loss and ensure a comfortable fit.

  • Slim Tube: Provides an average gain of 35dB, suitable for mild and moderate hearing loss.
  • Thick Tube: Provides an average gain of 40dB, suitable for moderate-severe hearing loss.

The device is pre-installed with a left slim tube. An extra right slim tube is included, and both slim and thick tube accessories are provided for customization. Choose the ear dome size that provides the best seal and comfort.

4.4 Hearing Loss Compatibility Guide

Refer to the table below to understand which tube type is recommended for different degrees of hearing loss and associated daily listening challenges. This device is not suitable for severe or profound hearing loss.

5. Maintenance and Care

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your hearing aid.

  • Daily Cleaning: Use the provided cleaning brush to gently remove earwax or debris from the ear dome and sound tube.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the hearing aid in its shockproof case to protect it from dust, moisture, and physical damage.
  • Avoid Moisture: Keep the device dry. Do not expose it to water or high humidity. Remove it before showering, swimming, or using hairspray.
  • Temperature: Avoid extreme temperatures. Do not leave the device in direct sunlight or in a hot car.
  • Battery Care: Always use the provided charging dock and cable. Do not attempt to open or replace the internal battery.

6. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your Banglijian Hearing Aid, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Check if the USB-C cable and power adapter are securely connected and functional.

8. Warranty and Support

The Banglijian Rechargeable Hearing Aid comes with a 12-MONTH WARRANTY. During the warranty period, quality problems under normal conditions of use will be eligible for replacement.

The warranty does not cover loss or damages due to improper use of the product, such as falling, getting wet, or animal/human destruction.
