4. Setup

4.1 Site Preparation

  1. Select a firm, level surface free of sharp objects, debris, and excessive slopes.
  2. Ensure the chosen area has adequate drainage and is away from electrical outlets or overhead power lines.
  3. For fewer wrinkles, unfold the pool material and leave it out in direct sunlight for approximately 2 hours before assembly. This makes the PVC more pliable.

4.2 Frame Assembly

  1. Lay out the pool liner in the prepared area, ensuring the drain plug is accessible.
  2. Assemble the steel frame according to the included diagram, connecting the horizontal beams and vertical supports. Ensure all connections are secure.
  3. Insert the frame poles through the sleeves provided on the pool liner.
  4. Connect the corner joints and T-connectors to complete the frame structure.

4.3 Filter Pump Connection

  1. Position the filter pump near the pool, ensuring it is on a stable, level surface and away from the pool edge.
  2. Connect the inlet and outlet hoses from the pool to the corresponding ports on the filter pump. Secure all connections with clamps to prevent water leakage.
  3. Insert the filter cartridge into the pump housing.

4.4 Filling the Pool

  1. Begin filling the pool with water. As the water level rises, gently smooth out any wrinkles in the pool liner from the center outwards.
  2. Fill the pool to the recommended water line, typically indicated on the liner or in the pump manual. Do not overfill.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Filter Pump Operation

The included cartridge filter pump is designed to circulate and filter the pool water, helping to keep it clean. It has a circulation capacity of up to 530 gallons per hour.

  1. Ensure the pump is properly connected and the power cord is plugged into a grounded outlet.
  2. Turn on the pump. Allow it to run for several hours daily to ensure proper water circulation and filtration. The exact duration depends on pool usage and water quality.
  3. Regularly check the filter cartridge for debris and clean or replace as needed.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Water Quality

  • Regularly test pool water for pH and chlorine levels. Adjust chemicals as necessary to maintain proper balance.
  • Skim debris from the water surface daily.
  • Vacuum the pool floor as needed to remove settled dirt.

6.2 Filter Cartridge Cleaning/Replacement

  • Turn off and unplug the filter pump before performing any maintenance.
  • Remove the filter cartridge and rinse it thoroughly with a garden hose.
  • Replace the cartridge every 2-4 weeks, or more frequently if the water remains cloudy despite cleaning.

6.3 Draining the Pool

To drain the pool, locate the drain plug at the bottom of the pool liner. Connect a garden hose to the drain plug adapter (if provided) and direct the water to a suitable drainage area. Open the drain plug to allow water to flow out.

In case of minor punctures or tears, use the included repair patch. Clean and dry the affected area thoroughly before applying the patch firmly over the damage. Allow sufficient time for the adhesive to cure before refilling the pool.

6.5 Winterization (Off-Season Storage)

  1. Completely drain the pool.
  2. Clean the pool liner and frame components thoroughly.
  3. Disassemble the frame and liner. Ensure all parts are dry before storing to prevent mold or corrosion.
  4. Store the pool and its components in a dry, protected area, away from extreme temperatures.
