3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Assembly

Your Greenworks riding mower is transported in a steel shipping crate. Carefully unpack the mower and its components. 3.2 Battery Charging and Installation

The mower comes with four 8.0Ah Lithium-Ion batteries and two dual-port turbo chargers. Ensure all batteries are fully charged before initial use.

  1. Charge Batteries: Connect the dual-port turbo chargers to a standard power outlet. Insert the 8.0Ah batteries into the chargers. A full charge typically takes 90 minutes per pair of batteries.
  2. Install Batteries: Locate the battery compartments on the mower (typically under the seat or rear storage area). Insert the charged batteries firmly into their designated slots. Ensure they click into place.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Starting the Mower

  1. Engage Parking Brake: Ensure the parking brake is engaged.
  2. Insert Key: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the 'ON' position.
  3. Engage Blades: To engage the cutting blades, press the blade engagement button or pull the PTO (Power Take-Off) lever, depending on your model.
  4. Select Speed: Choose your desired speed setting (low or high). The mower can reach cutting speeds of up to 8 MPH.
  5. Release Parking Brake: Release the parking brake and slowly press the forward pedal to begin mowing.
