5. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your motherboard and essential components.

5.1. CPU Installation

1. Locate the LGA 1150 CPU socket on the motherboard.
2. Gently push down the load lever and pull it sideways to open the socket.
3. Carefully align the notches on your 4th generation Intel CPU with the corresponding keys on the socket. Do not force the CPU into the socket.
