1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

Control Panel Features:

4. Setup and First Use

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the air fryer and all packaging materials.
  2. Cleaning: Before first use, clean the basket and pan with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before use.
  3. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, horizontal, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate air circulation around the appliance (at least 10 cm clearance on all sides).
  4. Pre-heating (Optional): For best results, pre-heat the air fryer for 3-5 minutes at the desired cooking temperature before adding food.

5. Operating Instructions

General Operation:

  1. Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet.
  2. Carefully pull the basket out of the air fryer.
  3. Place the ingredients into the basket. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
  4. Slide the basket back into the air fryer.
  5. Press the Power button to turn on the appliance.
  6. Select a preset program or manually set the temperature (80-200 °C) and time (0-60 minutes) using the +/- buttons.
  7. Press the Start/Pause button to begin cooking.
  8. During cooking, the built-in shake reminder will alert you when it's time to shake or flip ingredients for even cooking.
  9. Once the timer reaches zero, the appliance will automatically turn off. Carefully pull out the basket and remove the cooked food.

Using Preset Programs:

The Electrolux EAF5B comes with 8 convenient preset programs. Simply press the corresponding button on the control panel, and the appliance will automatically set the optimal time and temperature for that dish. You can still adjust these settings manually if desired.

Shake Reminder:

For certain foods, especially fries or smaller items, the air fryer features an automatic shake reminder. This prompt ensures your food cooks evenly and achieves optimal crispiness. When the reminder appears, carefully remove the basket, shake the contents, and reinsert the basket to resume cooking.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your air fryer.

  1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
  2. Removable Parts: The basket and pan feature a non-stick coating and are dishwasher-safe. For manual cleaning, use hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge.
