1. Introduction and Overview

Thank you for choosing the MONMART Countertop Ice Maker. This portable and efficient ice machine is designed to provide fresh bullet ice quickly and conveniently for your home, kitchen, office, or bar. With its compact design and user-friendly features, you can enjoy chilled drinks and fresh ice whenever you need it.

Key features include fast ice production (8 cubes in 6-10 minutes), a self-cleaning function, one-touch operation, and a low noise level (less than 35dB).

2. Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.
  • Ensure the power outlet voltage matches the appliance's requirements.
  • Do not immerse the appliance, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Unplug from the outlet when not in use, before cleaning, or if a malfunction occurs.
  • Keep the appliance away from heat sources, direct sunlight, and flammable materials.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 6 inches of space on all sides).
  • Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Use only potable water in the ice maker.
  • Do not place fingers or hands into the ice maker while it is operating.

3. What's in the Box

Upon unpacking, please ensure all items listed below are present and in good condition:

  • 1 x MONMART Ice Maker Machine
  • 1 x Ice Scoop
  • 1 x Ice Basket

4. Setup

Before first use, follow these steps to set up your ice maker:

  1. Unpack and Place: Remove all packaging materials. Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is at least 6 inches of clearance around the unit for proper ventilation.
  2. Allow to Rest: After transportation, allow the ice maker to stand upright for at least 30 minutes before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
  3. Clean Before Use: Before making ice for consumption, it is recommended to clean the interior of the unit. (Refer to Section 6: Maintenance and Cleaning).
  4. Add Water: Open the lid and fill the water tank with potable water up to the "MAX" water line. Do not overfill.
  5. Plug In: Connect the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Once set up, operating your MONMART ice maker is simple:

  1. Turn On: Press the Power button () on the control panel. The "WORK" indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Ice Production: The ice maker will begin the ice-making cycle automatically. You can expect the first batch of 8 bullet-shaped ice cubes in approximately 6-10 minutes.
  3. Monitoring: The ice maker features LED indicators and precise infrared sensors:
    • The "ADD WATER" indicator will light up when the water reservoir is low, and the machine will pause operation. Refill the water tank to resume ice production.
    • The "ICE FULL" indicator will light up when the ice basket is full, and the machine will pause operation. Remove ice from the basket to resume production.
  4. Collecting Ice: Use the provided ice scoop to remove ice from the basket.
  5. Storage: For best results, transfer freshly made ice to a freezer for long-term storage, as the ice maker is not a freezer and ice will melt over time.
  6. Turn Off: To stop ice production, press the Power button () again.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and longevity of your ice maker.

Automatic Self-Cleaning Function:

This ice maker is equipped with a self-cleaning function to reduce scale deposits and maintain ice quality.

  1. Ensure the water tank is filled with clean water.
  2. With the unit powered on, press and hold the Power button () for 3 seconds.
  3. The "WORK", "ADD WATER", and "ICE FULL" indicators will all light up, signifying that the self-cleaning program has started.
  4. The cleaning cycle will run automatically. Once complete, drain the water.

Manual Cleaning and Draining:

  • Always unplug the ice maker before manual cleaning.
  • To drain the water, locate the drain outlet at the base of the machine. Unplug the water plug to quickly drain all water from the reservoir.
  • Clean the interior with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  • Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling and storing or using again.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ice maker, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
