3. Safety Information
Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent injury or damage to the equipment:
- ESD Safe: The soldering station is ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safe, protecting sensitive electronic components. However, always use proper ESD precautions, such as an ESD wrist strap, when working with electronics.
- Hot Surfaces: The soldering iron tip and heating element reach very high temperatures. Avoid direct contact with skin or flammable materials. Allow the iron to cool completely before handling or storing.
- Ventilation: Soldering produces fumes. Always work in a well-ventilated area or use a fume extractor to avoid inhaling harmful fumes.
- Power Off: Always turn off the soldering station and unplug it from the power outlet when not in use or before performing any maintenance.
- Proper Use: Use the soldering station only for its intended purpose. Do not modify the unit or use it with incompatible accessories.
- Children and Pets: Keep the soldering station and all accessories out of reach of children and pets.

4. Setup
Follow these steps for initial setup:
- Place the soldering station on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Connect the soldering iron handle cable to the designated port on the front of the soldering station. Ensure the connection is secure.
- Place the soldering iron into the soldering iron holder. The holder is designed to safely store the hot iron when not in use.
- Connect the power cord to the back of the soldering station and then plug it into a suitable power outlet (110-240V, 50/60Hz).
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
Press the ON/OFF button located on the front panel to power on or power off the soldering station. The LCD display will illuminate upon power-on.

5.2. Temperature Adjustment
Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the control panel to adjust the desired temperature. The temperature can be set between 356°F and 896°F (180°C and 480°C). The large LCD display shows the current temperature clearly.

5.3. Preset Channels
The station features three convenient preset channels for quick temperature recall:
- Preset 1: 392°F / 200°C
- Preset 2: 662°F / 350°C
- Preset 3: 788°F / 420°C
Press the function key (gear icon) to cycle through these preset temperatures. This saves time when switching between common soldering tasks.

5.4. °C/°F Conversion
To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature units, press the '+' and '-' buttons simultaneously. The display will update to show the selected unit.
5.5. Auto Sleep Mode
The soldering iron automatically enters sleep mode if it remains idle for 10 minutes. In sleep mode, the temperature drops to a constant 356°F (180°C) to reduce wear on the iron tip and save energy. To exit sleep mode, simply pick up the soldering iron or press any button. The iron will quickly return to its previously set temperature.

5.6. Power-on Memory
The soldering station features a power-on memory function. When you turn the unit off and then back on, it will automatically recall and set the last used temperature, eliminating the need to reset it each time.

5.7. Temperature Calibration
The soldering station supports temperature calibration to ensure accuracy, especially if the actual temperature deviates from the set temperature due to environmental factors. To calibrate:
- Long press the function key (gear icon) for 3 seconds to enter calibration mode.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the temperature offset.
- Confirm the setting to complete calibration.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your soldering station:
- Tip Cleaning: Regularly clean the soldering iron tip using the included copper wire ball or a damp sponge. This removes oxidation and solder residue, ensuring efficient heat transfer.
- Tip Tinning: Always tin the tip with a small amount of solder before and after use, and before storing. This prevents oxidation and prolongs tip life.
- Station Cleaning: Wipe down the main unit and soldering iron handle with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Tip Replacement: Replace soldering tips when they become excessively worn or corroded. The station accepts universal 900 series soldering iron tips.
- Handle Components: Ensure the stainless steel sleeve and silicone heat shield on the soldering iron handle are secure. Be careful not to overtighten the sleeve, as this can damage the ceramic heating core.

7. Troubleshooting
Refer to the table below for common issues and their solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Station does not power on. | No power supply; loose power cord. | Check power outlet; ensure power cord is securely connected. |
| Soldering iron not heating up. | Iron cable not connected; faulty heating element/tip. | Ensure iron cable is securely connected. If problem persists, contact support. |
| Temperature fluctuates or is inaccurate. | Needs calibration; worn out tip. | Perform temperature calibration (Section 5.7). Replace tip if necessary. |
| Display shows "-2E" error. | Short circuit protection activated; faulty iron cable or heating core. | Check the connection status of the soldering iron cable. If connection is good, the heating core may be faulty. Contact customer support. |
| Auto sleep mode not activating. | Iron is being moved or disturbed. | Ensure the iron is completely still for 10 minutes for auto sleep to activate. |
