2. Safety Information
- Waterproof Integrity: Ensure all seals and covers are securely closed before submerging the camera in water. The camera is waterproof up to 10 feet (3 meters). Exceeding this depth or improper sealing may cause water damage.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the camera to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for extended periods, or rapid temperature changes.
- Cleaning: After use in saltwater, rinse the camera thoroughly with fresh water and dry it completely before opening any compartments.
- Battery: Use only the specified charging cable. Do not attempt to open or replace the built-in battery.

4. Camera Overview

5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Battery
- Locate the USB port cover on the side of the camera.
- Open the cover and connect the included USB charging cable to the camera.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included), computer, or power bank.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours.
5.2 Inserting a Micro SD Card
A Micro SD card (up to 32GB, Class 10 or higher recommended) is required to save photos and videos. It is not included with the camera.
- Ensure the camera is powered off.
- Locate the Micro SD card slot, usually next to the USB port.
- Gently insert the Micro SD card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card in until it clicks, then release, and it will eject.
5.3 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Mode / Menu button for a few seconds until the LCD screen illuminates.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Mode / Menu button again until the screen turns off.
5.4 Initial Settings (Date/Time)
Upon first use or after the battery is fully depleted, you may need to set the date and time.
- Power on the camera.
- Press the Mode / Menu button repeatedly until you navigate to the settings menu.
- Use the Zoom In/Out buttons to navigate through the menu options.
- Select "Date/Time" and adjust the values using the Shutter Release button to confirm and the Zoom In/Out buttons to change.
- Exit the menu once settings are complete.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Taking Photos
- Power on the camera. Ensure it is in Photo Mode (indicated by an icon on the LCD screen). If not, press the Mode / Menu button to switch.
- Frame your shot using the 2.4" LCD screen.
- Press the Shutter Release button firmly to take a photo. The screen may briefly flash or display a capture confirmation.
- Use the Zoom In/Out buttons to adjust optical zoom before taking a photo.
6.2 Recording Videos
- Power on the camera. Press the Mode / Menu button to switch to Video Mode.
- Frame your scene using the LCD screen.
- Press the Shutter Release button once to start recording. A red dot or recording indicator will appear on the screen.
- Press the Shutter Release button again to stop recording.

6.3 Playback
- In Photo or Video Mode, press the Mode / Menu button to enter Playback Mode.
- Use the Zoom In/Out buttons to scroll through your captured photos and videos.
- To view a video, select it and press the Shutter Release button to play. Press again to pause/resume.
- To exit Playback Mode, press the Mode / Menu button.
6.4 Transferring Files
- Via USB Cable: Connect the camera to a computer using the USB cable. The camera should appear as a removable disk, allowing you to copy files directly.
- Via Wi-Fi: The camera features Wi-Fi connectivity. Refer to the on-screen menu for Wi-Fi setup instructions to connect to a smartphone or computer for file transfer.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning the Camera Body: Wipe the camera body with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a mild soap solution and rinse thoroughly.
- Cleaning the Lens and Screen: Use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution. Avoid abrasive materials that could scratch the lens or screen.
- After Underwater Use: Always rinse the camera with fresh water immediately after use in saltwater or chlorinated water. Ensure all ports and covers are closed during rinsing. Dry the camera completely with a soft cloth before opening any compartments.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the camera regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health.
