Key Assembly Steps

1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully unpack all components and verify against the parts list. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
2. Assemble Bed Frame: Connect the headboard, side rails, and footboard using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure.
3. Install Center Support Beam: Attach the center support beam to the bed frame. This provides crucial stability for the mattress.
4. Attach Hydraulic Mechanism: Secure the hydraulic lift mechanism to the bed frame according to the instructions. Refer to the dedicated hydraulic pump installation video for guidance.

Operating Instructions

Your VELOCAVA lift-up storage bed is designed for easy access to under-bed storage. The hydraulic mechanism assists in lifting the mattress platform.

1. Lifting the Mattress Platform: To access the storage, firmly grasp the pull strap located at the foot of the bed. Lift the mattress platform upwards. The hydraulic mechanism will assist in raising and holding the platform in an open position.
2. Accessing Storage: Once the platform is lifted, you can access the ample storage space underneath. The dustproof cover helps keep your stored items clean and organized.
3. Lowering the Mattress Platform: To close, gently pull the mattress platform downwards. The hydraulic mechanism will smoothly guide it back into the closed position. Ensure no items are obstructing the closing path.

Important Note: The hydraulic mechanism requires the weight of a mattress to function correctly. If the mattress platform does not stay down or is difficult to close without a mattress, this is normal. It will operate as intended once a mattress is placed on it.
