Introduction
The YuLinca 10-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Ethernet Switch is designed to expand your network capacity with ease. It features 8 auto-negotiating 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 ports, 1 dedicated Gigabit RJ45 Uplink port, and 1 Gigabit SFP port. This unmanaged switch offers plug-and-play functionality, requiring no complex configuration. Its fanless metal housing ensures silent operation and durability, making it suitable for various network environments including home, office, and small businesses.
Key Features
- 10-Port Gigabit Connectivity: Includes 8x 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 ports, 1x Gigabit RJ45 Uplink port, and 1x Gigabit SFP port for flexible network expansion. Total switching bandwidth is 20Gbps.
- VLAN Isolation: Ports 1-8 support VLAN port isolation, preventing direct communication between them while allowing communication with the uplink (VLAN1) and SFP (SFP1) ports. This feature helps reduce network congestion and enhance security.
- Unmanaged Plug and Play: Requires no software configuration. Simply connect the power adapter and network cables for immediate operation.
- Easy Maintenance: Equipped with power and port LED indicators to clearly display operational status and port speed, simplifying installation and troubleshooting.
- Versatile Application: Supports desktop or wall mounting, making it adaptable for various network needs in homes, offices, 4K video setups, gaming PCs, NAS, PCIe adapters, servers, and WiFi 6 APs.
- Fanless Metal Design: Durable metal casing with a fanless design ensures silent operation and efficient heat dissipation.

Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your YuLinca 10-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Ethernet Switch:
- Unpack the Switch: Carefully remove the switch and its accessories from the packaging.
- Connect Power: Plug the provided power adapter into the DC input port on the switch and then into a power outlet. The Power LED indicator will illuminate.
- Connect to Your Network: Connect an Ethernet cable from your router or modem to the Gigabit Uplink port (LAN1) or the Gigabit SFP port (SFP1) on the switch.
- Connect Devices: Connect your network devices (e.g., computers, gaming consoles, NAS, IP cameras) to any of the 8x 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 ports (ports 1-8) using Ethernet cables. The corresponding port LED indicators will light up when a connection is established and blink during data transfer.
- VLAN Configuration (Optional): If VLAN mode is desired, locate the DIP switch on the device. Set the switch to the "VLAN" position to enable port isolation for ports 1-8. In this mode, ports 1-8 cannot communicate with each other but can communicate with the uplink and SFP ports. For default operation, ensure the DIP switch is in the "Standard" position.

Operating Instructions
LED Indicators:
- Power LED: Illuminates when the switch is powered on.
- Port LEDs (1-8, LAN1, SFP1):
- Solid Green: Indicates a stable 1000Mbps (Gigabit) connection.
- Flashing Green: Indicates data activity on a 1000Mbps connection.
- Solid Yellow/Amber: Indicates a stable 10/100Mbps connection.
- Flashing Yellow/Amber: Indicates data activity on a 10/100Mbps connection.
- Off: No device is connected or the connected device is powered off.
VLAN Isolation Mode:
The switch features a DIP switch to toggle between "Standard" and "VLAN" modes. In "VLAN" mode, ports 1-8 are isolated from each other, enhancing network security and reducing broadcast storms. They can still communicate with the dedicated Gigabit Uplink (LAN1) and Gigabit SFP (SFP1) ports. In "Standard" mode, all ports can communicate freely.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the switch. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
- Ventilation: Ensure the switch is placed in a well-ventilated area. Although fanless, proper airflow helps maintain optimal operating temperature.
- Cable Management: Keep network cables organized to prevent damage and ensure reliable connections.
- Power Cycle: If the switch is not functioning as expected, try disconnecting the power adapter for a few seconds and then reconnecting it.
Troubleshooting
- No Power: If the Power LED is off, ensure the power adapter is securely connected to the switch and a working power outlet.
- No Link/Activity on Port:
- Verify the Ethernet cable is securely connected at both ends (switch and device).
- Ensure the connected device is powered on and functioning correctly.
- Try a different Ethernet cable or port on the switch.
- Check the cable type; ensure it is a standard Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher recommended for Gigabit speeds).
- Slow Network Speed:
- Check the port LED color. A yellow/amber light indicates a 10/100Mbps connection, not Gigabit. Ensure both the connected device and the cable support Gigabit speeds.
- Ensure the Ethernet cable is not damaged or excessively long.
- If VLAN mode is enabled, ensure it is configured correctly for your network needs.
