A smartphone screen is also shown, demonstrating the dash cam's connectivity features, including GPS tracking and live video feed.

Setup

  1. Insert SD Card: Locate the SD card slot on the dash cam. Insert the provided 32GB SD card firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is correctly oriented.
  2. Mounting: Attach the dash cam to your vehicle's windshield using the universal mount. Position it centrally to ensure a clear view of the road ahead. The rear camera should be mounted on the rear windshield for optimal rear view recording.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the dash cam to your vehicle's power outlet (e.g., cigarette lighter socket) using the provided power cable. Route the cable neatly to avoid obstructing your view or driving.
  4. Wi-Fi & GPS Setup: Once powered on, the dash cam will activate its Wi-Fi and GPS functions. Download the dedicated lensuge dash cam app on your smartphone. Connect your phone to the dash cam's Wi-Fi network (SSID and password typically displayed on the dash cam screen or in the quick start guide). This enables GPS tracking and allows you to view and manage recordings via the app.

Operating Instructions

  • Automatic Recording: The dash cam will automatically begin recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on. It records both front and rear views simultaneously.
  • 8K Ultra HD Video: The front camera records in stunning 8K resolution, capturing clear and detailed footage. The rear camera provides a clear view of the vehicle's rear.
  • Night Vision & WDR: Equipped with advanced night vision and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology, the dash cam ensures clear recordings even in low-light conditions or areas with high contrast.
  • G-Sensor: The built-in G-Sensor automatically detects sudden shakes or collisions and locks the current video footage to prevent it from being overwritten, ensuring critical evidence is preserved.
  • 24-Hour Parking Mode: When enabled, the parking mode monitors your vehicle for impacts even when parked. If an impact is detected, the dash cam will automatically record and save the event.
  • 3.16" IPS Screen: Use the integrated IPS screen to view live footage, navigate menus, and review recorded videos directly on the device.
  • App Connectivity: Connect your smartphone to the dash cam via Wi-Fi to access recorded videos, download footage, adjust settings, and view real-time GPS data.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lenses with a soft, lint-free cloth to ensure clear video quality. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
  • SD Card Management: It is recommended to format the SD card monthly to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption. Back up any important footage before formatting.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's official website periodically for any available firmware updates to ensure your dash cam has the latest features and bug fixes.

Troubleshooting

  • Dash Cam Not Powering On: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the dash cam and the vehicle's power outlet. Check the vehicle's power outlet for functionality.
  • Recording Issues: If the dash cam is not recording, check if the SD card is inserted correctly and has sufficient free space. Try formatting the SD card.
  • Wi-Fi Connectivity Problems: Ensure your smartphone is within close proximity to the dash cam. Restart both the dash cam and your phone, then attempt to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network.
  • Poor Video Quality: Clean the camera lenses. Ensure the protective film has been removed from the lenses. Check settings for video resolution and WDR.
  • GPS Not Working: Ensure the dash cam has a clear view of the sky for GPS signal acquisition. This may take a few minutes after startup.
