Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Lancer Tactical Airsoft Tommy Thompson Submachine Gun. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper handling and to prevent damage or injury.

The D98 M1A1 Submachine Gun AEG is a replica of one of the most prominent SMGs during World War II. It features both semi-automatic and full-automatic firing modes and comes equipped with a 1,000-round drum magazine and a 30-round spare straight magazine.

Setup

1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the included 8.4V Mini Battery using the provided Standard Wall Charger. Connect the battery to the charger and plug the charger into a standard wall outlet. Refer to the charger's indicator light for charging status. Do not overcharge the battery.

2. Installing the Battery

Locate the battery compartment, typically within the stock of the airsoft gun. Connect the charged battery to the gun's internal wiring connector. Carefully place the battery inside the compartment and secure the cover.

3. Loading the Magazines

The airsoft gun comes with both a 30-round standard stick magazine and two 1000-round drum magazines.

Loading the Drum Magazine:

1. Open the BB hatch located on the top of the drum magazine.
2. Pour 6mm BBs into the hatch until the drum magazine is full.
3. Close the BB hatch securely.
4. Wind the magazine in a clockwise direction using the winding mechanism until you hear a clicking sound, indicating it is fully wound.

Caution: Winding the magazine in a counter-clockwise direction will damage the magazine.

Loading the Standard Magazine:

For the 30-round stick magazine, use a speed loader (not included) or manually load BBs through the top opening, pushing them down against the spring.

Operating Instructions

1. Safety and Fire Selector

The airsoft gun features an authentic safety and fire selector switch. Always ensure the selector is set to "SAFE" when not actively firing or when handling the gun. The selector allows you to choose between "SINGLE" (semi-automatic) and "FULL AUTO" (fully automatic) firing modes.

2. Adjustable Hop-Up

The airsoft gun is equipped with an adjustable hop-up system to fine-tune the trajectory of your BBs. Adjust the hop-up to achieve optimal range and accuracy based on the weight of the BBs you are using. Experiment with small adjustments to find the best setting.

3. Sights

The airsoft gun features authentic front and rear sights for aiming. Align the front sight post with the rear sight notch and your target for accurate shots.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning and Unjamming

Regular cleaning of the barrel is recommended to maintain accuracy and prevent jams. Use the included cleaning/unjamming rod with a small piece of cloth to gently clean the inner barrel. If a BB becomes jammed, use the rod to carefully push it out from the muzzle end.

Warning: Always ensure the airsoft gun is unloaded and on "SAFE" before performing any maintenance.

2. Storage

Store the airsoft gun in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove the battery from the gun when storing for extended periods to prevent discharge or damage.

Safety Information
