1. Product Overview

3. Setup

1. Prepare the Thermometer:
   • Open the battery cover.
   • Remove the insulating strip from the battery compartment.
   • Replace the battery cover securely.
2. Power On: Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the thermometer. The display will briefly show a full screen, then the last measured temperature, and finally "Lo" with a flashing °F or °C.
3. Select Measurement Mode: While the thermometer is off, press and hold the SET button (for under 2 seconds) to choose your desired measurement mode: Oral, Axillary (Armpit), or Anal (Rectal). The default mode is oral.

4. Operating Instructions

Taking a Temperature:

1. Ensure the thermometer is clean and disinfected.
2. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the thermometer. Wait for "Lo" to appear on the display.
3. Place the sensor in the appropriate measuring position:
   • Oral Measurement: Place the thermometer tip under the tongue, to the left or right of the tongue root. Hold the thermometer with your tongue and hand. Keep mouth shut and breathe normally through the nose.
   • Axillary (Armpit) Measurement: Place the thermometer tip in the center of the armpit. Clamp the armpit tightly to ensure good contact.
   • Rectal Measurement: Carefully insert the thermometer tip into the rectum.
4. Hold the thermometer in place until the measurement is complete (approximately 9 seconds). A beeping sound will indicate the completion of the measurement.
5. Read the temperature displayed on the LCD screen. The backlight color will indicate the temperature range:
   • Green: Normal temperature (<99.50°F / <37.50°C)
   • Blue: Medium temperature (99.50°F ≤ T < 101.30°F / 37.50°C ≤ T < 38.50°C)
   • Yellow: High temperature (≥101.30°F / ≥38.50°C) - accompanied by a fever alarm.
6. After use, clean the thermometer as described in the Maintenance section.
7. The thermometer will automatically shut down after approximately 6 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery. You can also manually turn it off by pressing the ON/OFF button.

Switching Between °F and °C:

To switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C), turn off the thermometer. Then, press and hold the ON/OFF button for approximately 3 seconds until the unit changes on the display.

Memory Recall:

The thermometer stores the last measured temperature. To view the last reading, briefly press the ON/OFF button when the thermometer is off. The last reading will be displayed before showing "Lo". The device can recall up to 9 sets of previous readings.

Basal Body Temperature (BBT) Measurement:

For tracking BBT for ovulation, take your temperature immediately after waking up, before any activity. The thermometer provides readings accurate to two decimal places to capture subtle temperature changes. Note that this thermometer does not support Bluetooth; data must be manually recorded or entered into your preferred fertility tracking app.

5. Maintenance

Cleaning and Disinfection:

The thermometer features a waterproof tip, making it easy to clean. After each use, wipe the tip with a soft cloth moistened with rubbing alcohol (70% isopropyl alcohol) or an antiseptic solution. Do not immerse the entire thermometer in water or any cleaning solution. Allow it to air dry before storing.

Battery Replacement:

The thermometer uses one CR2032 Lithium Metal battery (included). When the battery indicator appears on the display, it's time to replace the battery. To replace, open the battery cover located at the back of the thermometer, remove the old battery, insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up, and securely close the cover.

Storage:

Store the thermometer in its provided storage case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep out of reach of children.

• "Lo" Displayed: If "Lo" is displayed after turning on, it indicates that the ambient temperature is below the measurable range or that the thermometer is ready for a new measurement. It does not indicate a low battery.
• Inaccurate Readings: Ensure the thermometer tip is placed correctly and held firmly in the chosen measurement area. Avoid movement during measurement. Check if the battery is low (though "Lo" does not mean low battery, a truly low battery might affect accuracy).
• No Display/Does Not Turn On: Check if the battery insulating strip has been removed. If it has, replace the battery with a new CR2032 battery.
• Fever Alarm Not Sounding: Ensure the measured temperature is above the fever threshold (≥101.30°F / ≥38.50°C).
