2. Safety Information

4. Setup

Before starting any work, ensure the tool is unplugged from the power source.

4.1 Attaching the Auxiliary Handle

The auxiliary handle can be attached to either side of the grinder head, providing comfort and flexibility for both left-handed and right-handed users.

1. Identify the threaded holes on both sides of the grinder head.

4.3 Mounting the Grinding/Cutting Disc

Always use the correct disc for the material and application. Refer to the disc's specifications for compatibility.

1. Press and hold the spindle lock button.
2. Place the inner flange onto the spindle.
3. Position the selected grinding or cutting disc onto the inner flange, ensuring it sits flat.
4. Thread the outer flange onto the spindle and tighten it firmly using the provided wrench. Release the spindle lock.

5. Operating Instructions

Once the grinder is properly set up and safety precautions are in place, you can begin operation.

5.1 Powering On/Off

• To Turn On: Ensure a firm grip with both hands. Slide the power switch forward to the 'ON' position.
• To Turn Off: Slide the power switch backward to the 'OFF' position. Allow the disc to come to a complete stop before setting the tool down.

5.2 Grinding and Cutting Techniques

Always let the tool reach full speed before contacting the workpiece. Apply moderate pressure; do not force the tool.

• Grinding: Hold the grinder at a slight angle (typically 15-30 degrees) to the workpiece. Move the tool smoothly and consistently across the surface.
• Cutting: Hold the grinder perpendicular (90 degrees) to the workpiece. Make shallow passes, gradually deepening the cut. Avoid twisting or binding the disc.
• Polishing: Use appropriate polishing pads and compounds. Apply light, even pressure and move the tool in a consistent pattern.

6.1 Cleaning

2. Unscrew the brush caps using a screwdriver.
