5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Vacuum Sealing (Dry/Moist Food)

This process is for vacuuming and sealing food in vacuum sealer bags.

  1. Place the food item inside a vacuum sealer bag, leaving at least 2-3 inches of space between the food and the open end of the bag.
  2. Open the lid of the vacuum sealer. Place the open end of the bag flat into the vacuum chamber, ensuring it does not extend beyond the vacuum baffle.
  3. Close the lid firmly by pressing down on both sides until you hear two "click" sounds, indicating it is properly locked.
  4. Press the "FOOD" button to select either DRY or MOIST mode based on your food type.
  5. Press the VAC&SEAL button. The machine will automatically vacuum the air out of the bag and then seal it.
  6. Once the process is complete, the indicator lights will turn off. Press the release buttons on both sides to open the lid and remove your sealed bag.

  2. Close the lid firmly until it locks.
  3. Press the SEAL button. The machine will heat and seal the bag.
  4. Once the sealing light turns off, open the lid and remove the sealed bag.

5.3 Pulse Function (Manual Vacuum Control)

The Pulse function is ideal for delicate items like bread, chips, or pastries, allowing you to control the vacuum pressure manually to prevent crushing.

  1. Prepare the bag with the delicate food item and place the open end into the vacuum chamber.
  2. Close the lid firmly until it locks.
  3. Press and hold the STOP/PULSE button to start vacuuming.
  4. Release the button when the desired vacuum level is reached.
  5. Immediately press the SEAL button to seal the bag.
  6. Once sealed, open the lid and remove the bag.

5.4 External Vacuum System

Use the included air suction hose to vacuum seal jars, canisters, or wine bottles designed for vacuum preservation.

  1. Connect one end of the air suction hose to the accessory port on the vacuum sealer.
  2. Connect the other end of the hose to the port on your vacuum-sealable jar, canister, or wine stopper.
  3. Ensure the lid of the vacuum sealer is closed and locked.
  4. Press the VAC button. The machine will begin to extract air from the container.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your AAOBOSI Vacuum Sealer.

6.1 Cleaning the Machine

  1. Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Allow the sealing strip to cool down completely before cleaning.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild dish soap solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  4. The built-in alignment drip tray is detachable for easy cleaning. Remove it and wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reinserting.
  5. Clean the vacuum chamber and sealing gasket with a damp cloth. Ensure no food particles or liquids are left behind, as this can affect sealing performance.
  6. Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing or next use.

6.2 Sealing Strip Care

The heating seal strip is crucial for effective sealing. Keep it clean and free from debris. The upgraded 12mm thick and wide design is less prone to deformation, but proper care is still essential.

  • Avoid touching the sealing strip immediately after use as it will be hot.
  • If any plastic residue or food particles are on the sealing strip, gently wipe them off with a soft cloth once the strip has cooled.
  • Periodically check the sealing gasket for any cracks or damage. A damaged gasket can lead to poor vacuum performance.
