1. Introduction and Overview
The BOESPATR Portable AM FM Radio is a compact and versatile device designed for convenient audio entertainment. It features excellent reception for both AM and FM bands, an integrated MP3 player with support for TF/Micro SD cards and USB flash drives, a powerful rechargeable battery, and additional functions like a built-in flashlight and headphone jack. 3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation and Charging
The radio comes with a rechargeable lithium polymer battery. Before first use, ensure the battery is properly installed and fully charged.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the radio.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the provided 1200mAh lithium polymer battery, ensuring the contacts align correctly.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- Connect the included charging cable to the radio's USB port and the other end to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
- Allow the radio to charge until the charging indicator light (if present) indicates a full charge. The radio can be used while charging.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
To power on the radio, slide the ON/OFF switch located on the top of the device to the "ON" position. To power off, slide the switch to the "OFF" position.
4.2 Radio Mode (AM/FM)
The radio supports both FM and AM bands. The current mode (FM or AM) is typically displayed on the screen.
- Switching Bands: Press the 'M' button to cycle between FM and AM radio modes.
- Automatic Station Search: To automatically scan and save available radio stations, press and hold the Play/Pause button for 3 seconds. The radio will scan and store stations in memory.
- Manual Frequency Input: Use the numbered buttons (0-9) on the control panel to directly input a desired radio frequency.
- Station Navigation: Use the Previous and Next buttons to cycle through saved stations or manually tuned frequencies.
- Antenna: For optimal reception, ensure the hand strap is extended, as it functions as the radio's antenna.

4.3 MP3 Playback
The radio can play MP3 audio files from a Micro SD (TF) card or a USB flash drive.
- Insert your Micro SD (TF) card into the designated slot or your USB flash drive into the USB port.
- The radio should automatically switch to MP3 playback mode. If not, press the 'M' button to select MP3 mode.
- Use the Play/Pause button to start or pause playback.
- Use the Previous and Next buttons to skip between tracks.
- The 'REP' button can be used for repeat functions (e.g., repeat one, repeat all).
4.4 Flashlight Function
To activate the built-in LED flashlight, locate the dedicated LED button or switch (if available) on the radio. Press it once to turn the flashlight on, and press it again to turn it off.
4.5 Headphone Use
For private listening, connect any standard 3.5mm earphone or headphone into the headphone jack located on the side of the radio. The sound will automatically switch from the internal speaker to the connected headphones.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the radio. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing the radio for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% and recharge every few months.
- Storage: Store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
- Avoid Impact: Protect the radio from drops and impacts, which can damage internal components.
6. Troubleshooting
