- Disconnect power before making any electrical connections to prevent electric shock or damage.
- Ensure proper wiring: Incorrect wiring can cause damage to the speakers or your vehicle's electrical system. Consult a professional if unsure.
- Secure mounting: Always ensure speakers are securely mounted to prevent detachment during vehicle operation, which could cause injury or damage.
- Avoid extreme temperatures: While water-resistant, prolonged exposure to extreme heat or cold can affect performance and lifespan.
- Do not submerge: These speakers are water-resistant (IP-X6 rated), not fully submersible. Avoid direct high-pressure water jets.

Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your Pyle PLUTV61BK speakers:
Mounting the Speakers
- Step 1: Unbolt the Mounting Bracket. Carefully unbolt the pre-installed aluminum mounting bracket from the speaker housing.
- Step 2: Slide Buckle with Rubber Pad. Select the appropriate rubber pads (5.1" x 1.2" x 0.16" or 5.1" x 1.2" x 0.08") based on your roll-bar/roll-cage diameter (1.5" ~ 3.0"). Attach the rubber pad to the bracket stand and slide the buckle onto your vehicle's roll-bar or roll-cage.
- Step 3: Attach Screw to Lock the Buckle. Reattach the speaker to the mounting bracket using the provided screws, ensuring a secure fit. The universal mounting brackets are designed for roll-bar/roll-cage diameters of 1.5" to 3.0" inches. Use 1.5" to 2" for motorsports/powersports applications and 2.25" to 3" for marine applications.

Wiring Connections
- Step 4: Securely Connect Speaker Wires. Connect the included speaker connection wires to your audio source (e.g., amplifier, head unit). Ensure correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative) for optimal sound performance. The speakers are passive and require an external amplifier.
- Step 5: Test and Enjoy. Once all connections are made, power on your audio system and test the speakers. Adjust settings on your audio source as needed.
Note: If you are unsure about electrical wiring, it is recommended to seek professional assistance to avoid damage to your equipment or vehicle.
Operating Instructions
Once installed and wired, operating your Pyle PLUTV61BK speakers is straightforward:
- Power On/Off: The speakers are passive and will turn on/off with your connected audio source (amplifier/head unit).
- Volume Control: Adjust the volume directly from your connected audio source. Start with a low volume and gradually increase to a comfortable listening level.
- Audio Source: Ensure your audio source is properly connected and playing media.
- Sound Quality: For optimal sound, ensure your audio source's equalizer settings are adjusted to your preference.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and performance of your Pyle PLUTV61BK speakers, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the speaker enclosures. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the marine-grade finish.
- Water Exposure: After exposure to saltwater or heavy mud, rinse the speakers gently with fresh water to prevent corrosion and buildup. Do not use high-pressure washers directly on the speakers.
- Inspections: Periodically check all mounting hardware and wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear or corrosion. Tighten any loose screws and replace damaged wiring as needed.
- Storage: If storing your vehicle or watercraft for extended periods, consider covering the speakers or storing them in a dry, protected environment to minimize exposure to elements.
