Setup

Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the speaker's Type-C port and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator light turns on.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator light turns off.

Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your speaker to a Bluetooth-enabled device:

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicator light will flash).
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "S223B" from the list of devices.
4. Once connected, the speaker will provide an audible confirmation, and the indicator light will become solid.

True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To pair two Passau S223B speakers for an immersive stereo experience:

1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the TWS button. It will enter TWS pairing mode.
3. The primary speaker will automatically search for the secondary speaker. Once connected, you will hear an audible confirmation.
4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in the "Bluetooth Pairing" section.

Operating Instructions

Button Functions

RGB Light Control

The speaker features dynamic RGB breath lights that change colors cyclically. To control the lights:

• Short press the RGB Light button to cycle through different light modes.
• Long press the RGB Light button to turn the RGB lights on or off.

Hands-free Calling

With the built-in microphone, you can handle phone calls directly through the speaker when connected via Bluetooth:

• Answer/End Call: Short press the Play/Pause button.
• Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause button.

USB Disk Playback

The speaker supports music playback directly from a USB flash drive:

• Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB Disk Input port.
• The speaker will automatically detect the USB drive and begin playing music.
• Use the Volume +/- and Play/Pause buttons to control playback.

Maintenance

Water Resistance (IPX5)

The Passau S223B speaker has an IPX5 waterproof rating, meaning it is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. This makes it suitable for use in environments where it might encounter splashes, rain, or gentle sprays, such as by the pool or during outdoor activities.

Important: While IPX5 rated, do not submerge the speaker in water or expose it to high-pressure water jets. Ensure the silicone cover for the charging and USB ports is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.

Cleaning
