4. Setup and Connection

Follow these steps to safely connect your TEISQI battery charger to a 12V lead-acid battery.

1. Prepare the Battery: Ensure the battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion. If necessary, clean them with a wire brush.
2. Connect the Red Clamp: Attach the red (+) clamp of the charger to the positive (+) terminal of the battery.
3. Connect the Black Clamp: Attach the black (-) clamp of the charger to the negative (-) terminal of the battery.
4. Plug in the Charger: Once the clamps are securely attached to the battery, plug the charger's power cord into a standard 110V AC power outlet.

The charger will automatically detect the battery voltage and display the current status on the LCD screen.

• PULSE REPAIR Mode: To attempt to restore sulfated or acid-stratified batteries. This process can take 6-10 hours.

Temperature Compensation:

The charger automatically detects ambient temperature and adjusts the charging voltage accordingly. This ensures optimal charging performance in both hot (Summer Mode) and cold (Winter Mode) conditions, prolonging battery life.

Charging Process:

1. After connecting and plugging in, the charger will automatically begin charging.
2. Select the appropriate mode using the "MODE" button.
3. The LCD will display charging progress, voltage, current, and temperature.
4. When the battery is fully charged, the screen will display "FUL" and the charger will switch to float/trickle charge mode to prevent overcharging.
